Has anyone removed all their pubic hair with hair remover cream (poss TMI but what the hell)

I just got a bit bored, covered my legs in nair and then thought 'what the hell' and slathered it all over me bits.

It's great. HUGELY satisfying to just pull the hair out in clumps.

Looks a bit odd though, have never had a brazillian or anything so is all new to me.

Make me wonder why you would have a brazillian actually when you can just put a bit of cream on, read a trash mag whislt perched on the edge of the bath, and then shower it off.

No pain, and cheap.

YYYY to middle Eastern brutal waxers. Fab. Bumhole not too painful and feels lovely afterwards. Mound -ouch!

veet sensitive - hurts arsehole

Laser removal -had two sessions. Fab but too expensive to continue. Has nearly all grown back now Sad

Had beautican friend do minge and arse. Blush Far, far too embarressing for both of us to do again.

Friday night. contortions in the bathroom with Boots wax strips trying to wax own bumhole. Why, why, why are the strips so sticky? Had to use tons of baby oil afterwards to get rid of excess wax. The salon stuff dries hard doesn't it?

so there you are - a potted history of hair removal in vulgar bathroom. I think i've covered most angles don't you?

Any more tips most welcome

On a seious bum note, up the thread Tatty strongly recommends Nair Sensitive for bum holes. A lot of people have mentions that Veet burns the nethers (but not babies heads).

Vulgar · 07/08/2011 14:05

Ah ha - will put Nair sensitive on shopping list for arsehole.

But meanwhile, had a quick look at the Boots site in case some miracle hair arse product had come on to the market. am quite tempted by the Sugar Stripease. Must remember to shut bathroom window in case of wasp attack.

spout · 07/08/2011 14:14

ARF at "wasp attack" Grin

PerAr6ua · 07/08/2011 14:15

I need to hide this thread. I had my first mumsnet haircut today and am obviously too suggestible...

ggirl · 07/08/2011 14:32

Just a reminder ladies that when we're ancient we'll no longer have to fret about hairy bumholes.
I nurse the elderly and 99% are sporting shiny bald bumholes.

Honeydragon · 07/08/2011 14:49

Vulgar ...your arsehole has its own shopping list Shock Grin

TattyDevine · 07/08/2011 15:10

Its true, Nair Sensitive is the only one I would use.

I've been doing this DIY Brazillian thing for years Grin

I had an interesting conversation with my nanny-share about it once and now lots of people know how to do it Hmm

thenightsky · 07/08/2011 15:39

Timely thread... I was just going to post a 'can you Brazilianate yourself with Veet' thread Shock

I thought it would probably sting like buggery on an arsehole though.

I studied the small print on the bottles in Boots but could find no reference to 'do not use on delicate areas' or such.

Honeydragon · 07/08/2011 15:55

Brazilianate .....A campaign to get that into general usage must start herewith.

GetOrfMoiSamsungFridgeFreezer · 07/08/2011 22:09

lol at all you nutters.

No I didn't expect to inspire anyone, I just expected loads of people to go 'eww' and tell me horror stories about parabens or whatevs in the chemicals.

WHY WHY WHY

Honeydragon · 07/08/2011 22:35

BECAUSE
BECAUSE
BECAUSE

jazzchickens · 07/08/2011 22:52

I once used Nair extra sensitive facial hair remover before going out on a date.

All night the guy was telling me how I was looking particularly lovely & "glowing".

I have to admit my skin felt extra smooth.

Luckily he didn't stay over because I'd actually had a massive allergic reaction to the cream and my face had swollen up. The next morning my face was a big scab like you see when somebody has had a chemical peel (which technically I suppose I had).

I couldn't go out the house for days.

No way is that stuff going anywhere near my fanjo !!!!Grin

SilveryMoon · 08/08/2011 06:51

Still havedn't done mine!
Off to write veet on the shopping list.

(just to clarify, are we using veet or nair or another brand?)

ThatVikRinA22 · 08/08/2011 08:51

would anyone like to explain to me what the benefits of lopping it all off are then....? (also easily suggestible)

im a bit squeamish about it. Ive just started to epilate legs etc....the ingrowing hairs are a bugger.

TattyDevine · 08/08/2011 09:21

Nair Sensitive or your moon will be anything but silvery!!! Grin

cyb · 08/08/2011 09:24

Isnt it just ANOTHER upkeep and maintanence job for everyone to do? Lifes busy enough.....

SilveryMoon · 08/08/2011 09:25

Lol tatty Grin

BalloonSlayer · 08/08/2011 09:27

Inspired by this I tried this again the other night (have tried before but it hadn't worked.)

I left it on for 15 minutes!

Not a single hair was removed.

Confused

Am now considering contacting NASA and offering my indestructible pubes for use as heat shield if they ever decide to restart the space shuttle programme.

ggirl · 08/08/2011 12:46

cyb I'm with ya..never bother , tis enough to keep my legs smooth in the summer.

HamstersDontSwim · 08/08/2011 14:05

This tread has inspires me!

I am nairing one armpit to see if it burns too much to continue its use 'down south'

So far, so good.
Its been on for 8mins and no sting or burn yet, but I did wuss out and buy sensitive so may have to leave it on longer to combat my corse man like sproutings for it to work. Confused

HamstersDontSwim · 08/08/2011 14:12

Smells like burnt hair now.
Yuck.

Still not done much to hair, might leave it for another 10mins.

toomuchmonthatendofthemoney · 08/08/2011 14:36
