Morning All

Beautiful bambinos Marsha and Annie.

Loving all the W&A men too.

Sports day here today. It is a long drawn out event, starting at 11.00am and ending at 2.30pm. Glad DH will be there too. At least weather is nice.

Enjoy the sunshine Smile

VerityBrulee · 24/06/2011 10:18

HF hello! Hope your sale goes smoothly. Please update your gossip threads Grin

Bloss that is fantastic news, but not surprising, I knew you'd get it! Well, the shopping world is your oyster now Smile

I heard on the radio that a heatwave is building over France and moving towards us! Yay! Which virtually unworn dress to wear first?

I am trying to distract myself before getting ready for DS1's primary school graduation Sad Apparently ALL the mums ALWAYS cry, so at least I won't be the only one. I am basing my outfit around my sunglasses! Decided to go with steely grey Raybans, so navy Dutti dress and charcoal Comptoir leather jacket, but if sun comes out may do last minute change to floral print and Tom Ford Jennifers. DD was up at the crack of dawn deciding what to wear, finally went for Kate Middleton inspired cream lace dress (Zara sale yesterday) gold cardigan and gold ballet flats, accessorised with cream feathery hair band. DD is NEVER knowingly underdressed Grin

VerityBrulee · 24/06/2011 10:29

Good heavens! What on earth has happened to Shane Warnes face??? Look at his neck in the 4th photo Shock. Beatice and Eugenie look fantastic though. Warning: DM Alert

notyummy · 24/06/2011 10:39

OMG! He looks...erm...odd. Yes, agree that Beatrice and Eugenie look great.

Good luck at the grad verity.

Hf - we could have bumped into each other!!

Pictures of the children are gorgous Smile

NY Indeedy!

I am just so fed up with this weather. Summer, what summer?

I am already thinking about coats and winter boots. The Sales seem more fitting to towels and sheets etc!

blossoming · 24/06/2011 12:27

Good to see you around again hf. Best of of luck with the house.

Hope the graduation goes well for you verity. Does that meant the school holidays have started with you?

Looking at the Shane Warne photos, I couldn't help notice the Liz Hurley dress trailing in a bed of fag ends. Maybe dresses with trains should be better worn on red carpets.

I have a lovely 90 minutes of me time next. And no I'm not going to do any tidying or revising! Maybe I can trawl some sales sites...

Just back from my long run. 12.5 miles (I actually thought it was nearly a mile longer and that I had a great time....was quite crestfallen when I measure it properly using autoroute and realised my time was distinctly average!)

Just looking at the calender and realising that in July I have a dinner party, a ball, 4 childrens birthday parties (of good friend's children...so as much a social opportunity for the adults as the children), and 2 nights camping (inc a BBQ evening party). Some serious outfit planning is needed....

petitdonkey · 24/06/2011 13:13

Verity - your outfit sounds fab and I am loving your DD'd choices!!
Agree that Warne looks odd but I did like Liz's dress. I love Eugenie's - I think that's the one that she wore to the evening do of The Wedding. Westwood?? That is the dress that I want to get for my 40th....

I've picked up lots of tops from the HoF website - I am now on a mission of tops to go with Agnes and Houlis so that I have a 'uniform' sorted. I really want some colour in my life but should get my colours done first maybe? I'm fairly sure of what suits me but I'd love some brighter hues.

I love this - not sure it is a great shape for my large norks but worth a try.

slightly boring but a great colour

love this blue

good basic tee

pretty print but not sure the style will suit me

again, not sure it will suit but worth a try?

boring or great essential??

Phew, enough for now??

petitdonkey · 24/06/2011 13:35

I love this look so much. I need some coloured trousers....

blossoming · 24/06/2011 13:38

Can't see your last one petit, but a good selection there. Those blues are 'my' blues, ie for winters. Having your colours done would definitely make shopping easier.
I just saw my sister. Channelling 'pirate' chic Confused.
notyummy, the thought of running round our lake (12.5 miles) every Friday makes me want to go and lie down! Good for you though. I can't wait for dh to come home so I can start shredding again. May have to do double tonight and one tomorrow morning to make up for this week.

That is a great look petit. Perfect for this weather. Reminds me I really need to find a new blazer.
Mabe we should go out for lunch tomorrow, and a browse round the shops..

blossoming · 24/06/2011 13:45

petit, did you see this look I posted last week?

OP posts:
petitdonkey · 24/06/2011 13:48

I'm on the train to Chester Grin (dreams about Caesar Salad at The Grosvenor...)

Thats really a great look, love those Current Elliots. I might try it out with some cheap versions...

blossoming · 24/06/2011 13:57

I think it should be an easy look to emulate. (You're not really going to Chester are you?)

OP posts:
petitdonkey · 24/06/2011 14:01

No, I wish!!! I love Chester....

petitdonkey · 24/06/2011 14:05

which colour???

Do you think I should order a size 16? I'm a fat lard 30 in the JBrand

blossoming · 24/06/2011 14:42

Wow great colours! No way is a 30 a size 16.

anniemac are you in London? Marilyn Moore on Kings Road were doing Blochs in the sale for c.£70. Could be worth a phone call to see if they have anything in your size to save a wasted trip...

Great links Annie - the first one in particular is something I would love to pull off but am lacking the necessary long, tanned legs Sad I like the Hobbs pumps and think that the black toe would combat too much muck but if you're not loving them, send them back. I bough R&B white flats earlier in the year and feel that they may have been an expensive mistake.

I think you may be right on the chinos too but I don't want too much fuss around the middle... Can I brave trying them on in RL?? I think I'm a 12-14 in 'high end' shops which get the vanity sizing thing but would go much bigger in New Look, Toppers I think.

petitdonkey · 24/06/2011 17:52

Cleverything - Love a bit of slightly pissed shopping Grin Gorgeous bag though, you will use it forever.
