All this ASH talk is v infectious! I'm jealous of the Jalouse (ha ha - did you see what I did there?!) Do you know they retail over here for over 200 euros - makes yours a bargain WAN?! I would love to see a pic of someone with them on - do they only look ok with skinny jeans or would straight be ok too?

Bloss Good luck for later - will send positive vibes your way but sounds like you know your stuff so it will be a breeze.

Ambernjl Hope you had a nice waddle potter on the KR. Wonder if you would get any freebies if you went into labour in Zara? I'm sure I read if your waters break in Tescos you get your shopping paid for! Worth loitering I say! Wink
Fritzi get you with your washing machine mending! Good example to use on your CV under multi-tasking! I cant see your pics anymore - think I am down on your mates list under old name?
Pickled I bet you and your Agnes' wowed whoever it is shortlisting, fingers crossed for you.

All your comments about DH are really making me giggle - he certainly did not look like George C at 6.30 this morning!!! The pic I posted is the best one ever taken of him - better than our wedding pics (am now wondering if photoshop was involved???). I have to say I think we have a lovely collection of Mr W&A's! (Marsha yesh DH is Dutch sow talks a beet like thisch Smile)

OllieinOrange · 23/06/2011 14:59

Right, back on train! Resisted the impulse to stalk the corridors of power at the Treasury barking 'raise the interest rates AND the taxes' into my phone like a strange mixture of Joan Holloway and Gordon Brown. Hopefully I looked slightly more like the first though Grin

Bloss- hope it went well today.

Loving the pics of DHs! Dh would kill me if I did!

Bedtime at 7 45 round here. I don't see her in the morning at all 3/4 days a week, so I find 7 45 gives me a bit of time in the evening with get. She is always ready for bed by then as well.

Anyone following Wimbledon? Must admit to shameful lusting after random (mainly Spanish) young tennis players.

blossoming · 23/06/2011 15:48

Phew, dd has pooed and wee'd, so I feel I can stop hovering for a change! She is playing with ds. Poor ds is all I can say!

pickled, I am the only candidate. I need to convince them that there is no need to look elsewhere, that I would be the best candidate in a 100. It is so competitive out there right now I feel. I have to show them that I'm not out of touch. Tonight it's with the new Head, who doesn't know me at all, and governors who I don't know either, although they will know my family. My father is a former headteacher there.
All in all I could do without a) dh being absent b) potty training and c) AF.

Thanks for your good wishes, I'll be back later with all the news. They should let me know tonight.

MarshaBrady · 23/06/2011 19:24

BLOSS! well done!!

Ambernj1 · 23/06/2011 19:32

Well KR was mixed bag. Came away from Zara sale empty handed, nothing took my fancy. Same for Peter Jones, though was rather hoping my waters would break in there Ollie as apparently you get a hamper...

Popped into Maje to find the scarf I bought on Tues had been further reduced. Grrr.

However, triumph of the day was find grey Jalouse in my size in the Ash store for £73!

Also pleased to see both my Equipment shirt and Agnes in Trilogy for more than I paid.

bloss congrats on your job, and I know what you mean, was induced with DS and my long walk has done precisely nothing!

Carciofi I'm a Wimbledon girl - are you SW Lon too? Good luck on KR - Ash sold out of Jalouse in 38 & 39 FYI

Fritzi Yes, DH back so free to go into labour at any time, which probably means another 3 weeks, sigh!

AllBuggiedOut · 23/06/2011 19:35

Yay bloss! Cheers WineGrin

FritziGreenEyes · 23/06/2011 19:38

ollie Have added you under new name now Smile.

redllamayellowllama · 23/06/2011 19:38

WOOHOO! Well bloody done Bloss. Glass Bottle of bubbly and a weekend trip to Russell & Bromley?

AntPants1 · 23/06/2011 19:45

Well done bloss!

wideawakenurse · 23/06/2011 19:48

Brilliant news Bloss! Good for you.

Commedesgarcons · 23/06/2011 19:49

Congrats Bloss... very well deserved !

Abernj - pain waiting for these overdue babies...all my 3 were 5,6 and 9 days overdue respectively...in the end I trudged around The Mall at Cribbs and kickstarted labour the following morning so fingers crossed for you !

dh has arranged for us to go away for our wedding anniversary in a couple of weekends...so very happy. He's organised it with my Mother. Ahhhh...

wideawakenurse · 23/06/2011 19:50

Sounds like you had a nice day amber, never mind to the waters no breaking in PJ though. Smile

Great buy on the Jalouse's - please tell me you are not a 37 though!! Grin

redllamayellowllama · 23/06/2011 19:54

Fritzi thank you so much for linking to your NAP purchases. The Vince jumper arrived and it is gorgeous; so soft and it drapes beautifully. A real staple.

Have just done some heavy listing on ebay; need to recoup all of these purchases somehow.

My style is obviously set now though, as when I came downstairs in the Jalouse last night, DH was all "I remember those shoes, great that you're still wearing them". I didn't disabuse him of the notion.

blossoming · 23/06/2011 19:58

Thanks everyone! I am drinking a glass of red wine with dinner. On my own. Dh away. He has said he will take me wherever I want this weekend. The Grosvenor in Chester? Opposite R&B red!

wideawakenurse · 23/06/2011 20:00
