New thread here!

emo I wish! Will distract myself with browsing some more sales websites Smile.

redllamayellowllama · 21/06/2011 20:40

Sure Cardoon, from Coggles, but they only have size 8's left. I'm normally a 6 and really, really wish i'd sized down when they had the 5's in stock. Who knows, perhaps they'll be the perfect fit.

MarshaBrady · 21/06/2011 20:47

Fritzi I was subjected to that movie on the last long haul flight. It was one baad movie.

Roary sure you look fab, (can't see it.)

I love long light evenings. Ahh the longest day.

Ambernj1 · 21/06/2011 20:56

Oh is it the longest day? I will blame that for DS's reluctance to go to sleep now!

I have gained 2.5st and seem to be sticking there - exactly the same as last preg. Lost vast majority of weight straight away, last few lbs stuck. The week I got down to pre-preg weight I got the two blue lines for this one - obviously my fertile weight!

Quite fancy the Jalouse myself - might be worth a hop on the District Line to KR if they are £73 in store as wan says!

petitdonkey · 21/06/2011 21:37

Cardoon - I have ordered a 40 and am still waiting for them. I think they may be too big but am hoping not. I've gone for black but if I love them I would consider tan (which I guess they will restock sometime soon).

roary · 21/06/2011 21:50

Emo, Ants and marsha have added you.

red I do love the dress but one in every colour might be excessive. And the red is my best colour! Read any good books lately?

I am very impressed with the handbag avidity. I don't really get handbags, I have to say, which is just as well otherwise I would have yet another fashion item to spend money on. I should really be ebaying to finance Saks trip but really there is no time before I go. Perhaps retroactively?

Also I do love that LK Bennett bag, despite not really being a bag person!

cardoon · 21/06/2011 21:55

Will wait to hear how you and wan get on before ordering

wish the "vison" was as depicted here but I think it's a paler more taupe shade in reality - much less practical for me

redllamayellowllama · 21/06/2011 21:58

Have just started Murder on the Leviathan by Boris Akunin; DH's suggestion and quite fun, actually. The Road is sitting next to my bed which I must, must get round to reading and, following a chat with one of my sister's friends, I must also read Absalom, Absalom as she was most unimpressed that I hadn't yet read it. So some stuff to be getting on with...

I have to confess that I hated both the book and film of Eat,Pray,Love ( why I watched the film after reading, I don't know). Fritzi, have you nodded off yet?!

notyummy · 21/06/2011 22:03

Don't read The Road when feeling emotionally fragile. It may just finish you off...,,

roary · 21/06/2011 22:06

I think The Road is a push even when emotionally robust and considering the book that Red and I just read that's saying a lot.

I detest Faulkner. Did a lot of it at uni and hated all of it. Quite like the Boris Akunin books, though....

blossoming · 21/06/2011 22:08

emo, and others on the lookout for sexy one piece swimming costumes, I have found:
this Calvin Klein one shoulder and this
this miraclesuit is divine

roary · 21/06/2011 22:13

Also meant to say thanks so much for kind words ladies.... :)

Bloss, do you still think I'm an autumn? I don't (at least not in the HoC way). Am fully obsessed with this method and would love to have it done.

blossoming · 21/06/2011 22:25

roary, that would be perfect for you. You are obviously not happy with the result you got here so if you can find a practitioner go for it! I love your photo, it looks so professional.
I'm done with my preparation. It's all in the briefcase ready.
Could I have a little glass of wine do you think?

AntPants1 · 21/06/2011 22:36

roary you look lovely. Love the photo. What a beautiful family you have. Am jealous. I am totally unphotogenic. My husband says I have a camera face. It's true. I have. So I have no lovely photos of all of us as a family....

AntPants1 · 21/06/2011 22:37

bloss yes!!!!!

notyummy · 21/06/2011 22:38

Yes - gorgeous pic roary!

AntPants1 · 21/06/2011 22:40

www.kew-online.com/fcp/product/womens-clothing/footwear/Bellevue-Buckle-Boot/99902764

I bought some last winter (without buckle) and they are really comfortablemand still going strong even after all the trips to the park etc I have to do!

wideawakenurse · 21/06/2011 22:40

hello.

Rushing in quickly from a mad day at work to quickly say to Bloss good luck for tomorrow.

cardoon have responded on your other thread. 5's did come up big on me, but they only have 5's in black in the kings road store. None in stock in the Marylebone store.

petitdonkey · 21/06/2011 22:47

Good luck Bloss Smile

VerityBrulee · 21/06/2011 22:50

Good luck tomorrow Bloss you will be fab Smile

I bought my first AW item today, I am officially by-passing summer Sad I have noticed so many people around recently in AW clothes, it's grim. Anyway bought a pewter coloured metalic yarn jumper with sequins from Selected, can't find a link.

Love that red dress Roary and your photo, lovely family!

Rufus well done on job and compliment! My favourite ever bag is the Vanessa Bruno Lune. She does it every season in different colours and leathers. I have a black leather and a deep inky blue nubuck. It is the most beautiful shape, very understated, no flashy hardware. It makes me unfeasably happy every time I look at it! I saw one a while back in Smock if you want to see one in RL.

ReallyGrumpy I put on 4, yes 4 stone with dc3 Shock It was all fluid though as I was back in normal clothes within a couple of weeks. Not as quickly as Carciofi though! I held a newborn today, she was gorgeous, so snuggly and still all curled up

MrsJ what a tragedy about your bag. Hold your nerve though and I'm sure it will come back to you!

It is bucketing rain here and dd is going on her school trip to the zoo tomorrow. She is so excited, I hope the sun comes out for her.
