Sweedish Hasbeens for H&M

Bellebelle · 19/04/2011 21:21

So the range of shoes Sweedish Hasbeens have done for H&M goes into 150 stores worldwide tomorrow and I'm struggling to find out which stores are going to have them. Anyone found anything more than me?

I can't make out if this is going to be one of their limited ranges where people are queuing round the block and everything sells out in the first 5 minutes to be found on eBay for 4 times the price or if it's a bit lower key than that. I'm in Edinburgh and the designer ranges normally only go to Glasgow but I'm hoping we get them at the big store in town. Weighing up whether to slip out of the office in the morning or risk waiting until lunchtime, I am desperate to get some bargain hasbeens!

I asked about them today , sales assistant had no clue what I was going on about.
Queue behind me were quite intriqued though.
Dd sighed with relief.

They've many sizes back in stock online- couple of weeks' wait though.

moragbellingham · 21/04/2011 21:16

All sold out for me and not a sausage instore.

H&M don't deliver to my country but bought some Hasbeens from here yesterday - they're much cheaper than anywhere else I can find and sale Hasbeens are GBP35 (sorry, no pound sign on keyboard!)

jumpinghoops · 22/04/2011 07:49

If anyone is near the Islington store there were loads of pairs, all sizes in pretty much all styles (lots of the red and white strappy) largely going ignored by people yesterday. Wish I'd bought in store now!- but can wait for delivery...

tulpe · 22/04/2011 12:17

jumping - did you try any on?

Mine have a delivery date of 25/26 April so only have a couple more days to wait.

TethersEnd · 22/04/2011 14:39

Lolly, those ones are good (I have a pair) but they are not Hasbeens... although I agree that they may be better value than the H&M Hasbeens.

Lollypolly · 22/04/2011 15:22

Feel a bit silly now TethersEnd - though I'd got a good deal but didn't pay enough attention. Ah well, the ones I bought look exactly like SJP's Hasbeens so it's not all bad - hope they're comfy though.

TethersEnd · 22/04/2011 15:34

Don't feel silly! You got essentially the same shoe for much cheaper; that's not silly Wink

As I say, I have some and think the quality is great.

Lollypolly · 22/04/2011 15:51

Thanks Grin, guess they are almost the same, just not the same brand. Brain was on half speed today...

jumpinghoops · 22/04/2011 20:51

tulpe yes tried on, 6 was perfect on me (am normally 5/6 depending on fit of shoe- 5.5 in most places if they have them is perfect). Have to say the front of shoe was pretty close to get on in the 6-but comfy once on and 6 was perfect length wise. Would def. say size up-did you go up or down?

VerityBrulee · 23/04/2011 09:53

Just reporting back to say I've been wearing mine non-stop since weds and they are a resounding sucess, really comfortable and the percect height. Great for running around in, and I'm not great with heels.

Lolly I ordered those Lotta clogs a while ago but sent them back, they are lower than the H&Ms, which are the Super High hasbeens, and they look chunkier, the ankle strap is wider. I am v v v fussy though!

stillfrazzled · 23/04/2011 11:45

I am still kicking myself for not getting the red ones online when they were in stock, in my size. Sob, wail. Would anyone be prepared to grab a pair of 7s if they see them and post, if I send gifted paypal?

DonaAna · 23/04/2011 12:15

Also need to stay that I've been using my red H&M Hasbeens for several days now and absolutely love them. They are soft and comfortable and a great fit for my narrowish feet. The high heel looks lovely with both flares and skinnies but doesn't feel high at all. Some of the platform high-heeled clogs I've tried (this includes the original Hasbeens) give a rocking feel to your gait - if you lean on your toes, you almost stumble forward - but the H&M Hasbeens don't do that.

I walked past my local H&M today and there were two only red pairs left in tiny sizes and plenty of people frantically trying them on. Still, I got the last pair of size 7 there two days ago.

Lollypolly · 23/04/2011 13:11

I see how they're different now - the super highs (the H&M ones) are 9cm heel and the highs (which the Lotta ones are) are 7cm. I normally love a heel (the higher the better) but have problems walking in very high wooden heels (have some wooden skyscrapers from Zara that are gathering dust).

Will try the Lotta ones when they arrive - if they're sent back to the UK, I'll let you know!

Bellebelle · 23/04/2011 17:20

Glad so many managed to get them. Still none left in my local branch but going down south for work on Monday, will buy for you if I see any.

I haven't had the chance to wear either of mine yet - I seem to live in the only part of the UK with no sun, it's been freezing, raining or both for the past few days.

They have all sizes on website at the moment in the red and white strappy

tulpe · 23/04/2011 18:54

Still they have the 7's online now.

stillfrazzled · 23/04/2011 19:54

I just saw this, and tried, and they went out of stock while I was typing in my fecking details!!! Wail!!!

stillfrazzled · 23/04/2011 19:55

Bellebelle, if you do see any I would be SO grateful...

tulpe · 23/04/2011 20:00

I would keep trying. It took me 4 attempts to get them into my basket plus 2 attempts with 2 different cards to pay for them....and there was definitely more than enough credit available on each card!

maryjane71 · 23/04/2011 20:25

There are loads in the Market Street, Manchester branch, all colours and all sizes. Only me and another woman were trying them on.

I found the SJP ones too big in a 6 but too tight in a 5, so I got the 'frumpy, nursey' ones Grin. And I love them!

stillfrazzled · 23/04/2011 20:38

Maryjane, are you heading that way anytime soon? Am prepared to offer right arm, firstborn child and anything else...

stillfrazzled · 23/04/2011 20:42

Although thinking about DS1, maybe I should say that I'll send him to you if you don't get them for me Grin

maryjane71 · 23/04/2011 20:50

I'm not but DD lives/works there so she could pop in for you Smile. I got a 5 btw and I'm usually a 5.5
