Sweedish Hasbeens for H&M

Bellebelle · 19/04/2011 21:21

So the range of shoes Sweedish Hasbeens have done for H&M goes into 150 stores worldwide tomorrow and I'm struggling to find out which stores are going to have them. Anyone found anything more than me?

I can't make out if this is going to be one of their limited ranges where people are queuing round the block and everything sells out in the first 5 minutes to be found on eBay for 4 times the price or if it's a bit lower key than that. I'm in Edinburgh and the designer ranges normally only go to Glasgow but I'm hoping we get them at the big store in town. Weighing up whether to slip out of the office in the morning or risk waiting until lunchtime, I am desperate to get some bargain hasbeens!

Sorry delivery 9-13 may now
They look lovely

IngridBergman · 20/04/2011 08:36

oh gosh no, there's nothing above a size 6. I'm an 8 too Sad

Love the red ones. Will go and look in our shop today just in case...do they normally not do a size 7 or 8?

VerityBrulee · 20/04/2011 09:07

Can't buy them online in Ireland. Do I want them enough to get dc dressed and pack them into car and be in Westfield equivalent by 10? IME H&M collaborations are always sold out by 10, or at least the bits I want.

The red ones do look nice.

Ok, everybody get dressed .......now!

IngridBergman · 20/04/2011 09:12

Grin LOL

IngridBergman · 20/04/2011 09:12

(still not dressed)

Himalaya · 20/04/2011 09:22

Do you think the red and White ones look a bit mumsy? I can't decide. I can see how they would look funky and edgey on a young art studenty type, but I fear that on a someone even a bit older and mumsier they might look just 'sensible' and Dr Schol-ish ?

tulpe · 20/04/2011 09:38

Himalaya - I have been wondering that too which is why I haven't ordered the original Hasbeens before. However, am hoping that worn with the right things they will look stylish as opposed to frumpsville. At £30, I think its worth giving them a go.

DarrellRivers · 20/04/2011 09:45

Himalaya, it all depends on how you wear them
I can never worry what others might think

tulpe · 20/04/2011 09:48

Ingrid the website shows a size 7 available in red. Don't know if that's helpful??

jumpinghoops · 20/04/2011 09:53

Bellebelle, do you know if they come up big/small? Bought a 6 in the red strappy but am more of a 5/6 (finger crossed)...

RamblingRosa · 20/04/2011 10:49

Thanks for this thread. I had no idea that Hasbeens were coming to H&M. Just ordered the white ones. Had the red ones in my basket too but then they disappeared (sold out I guess).

Has anyone said yet if they come up big or small? I'm a 6.5 and I went for a 6. Hope they fit. Are they meant to be comfy? I sometimes find a wooden heel can be a bit hard on the feet.

kisschase · 20/04/2011 10:58

I've just managed to get a red pair in a size 7 (I have never placed an order as quick as that before!) I hope they fit as I have quite porky little trotters!!

KristinaM · 20/04/2011 11:30

I have just bought 3 pairs in h and m Glasgow. I'm a 6.5 and needed the 7. They are quite narrow fitting, lots of other customers couldn't get get some of the styles on. Obviously the ones with the laces can be adjusted

RamblingRosa · 20/04/2011 11:47

Oh no. That means I've ordered the wrong size. I'm a 6.5 and have ordered the 6. I hope I can find a 7 in store later today. Were they selling like hot cakes?

KristinaM · 20/04/2011 12:01

No there were lots lefts in all styles and colours in Glasgow

But it rains a lot here Grin

KristinaM · 20/04/2011 12:02

Lots of customers cursing the narrow fit

A bit like Cinderella

DarrellRivers · 20/04/2011 12:15

Not stocked in local store-bah
Will have to wait for my delivery

tulpe · 20/04/2011 13:00

bugger! Didn't look as though they did half sizes on the website though.

Can't be bothered to go in to the city on this gorgeous day though so will take my chances with the ones I ordered online.

trixymalixy · 20/04/2011 13:09

Lots left in Glasgow in everything but the red that I wanted. Have ordered the White online for a bargainous price with the discount code, thanks!

Bit worried that some people think they look a bit mumsy now though!!

IngridBergman · 20/04/2011 13:13

Thankyou, Tulpe, sadly we went out and I missed them - but a 7 would have been dinky on me by the sound of it as I'm normally an 8.

I quite fancy some Dr Scholls now but they don't seem to do this mumsy look any more! Curse modern fashion Smile

IngridBergman · 20/04/2011 13:14

Oh and I did look in our local store but they only had copies in PVC, not the actual thing...he reckoned it was only London that would have them if they were a special thing.

HotchpotchHoney · 20/04/2011 13:17

i ordered a red pair not even sure i like them but am pretty certain that i can return or sell on.

IngridBergman · 20/04/2011 13:33

Yes probably loads of people have bought them to sell on ebay.

RamblingRosa · 20/04/2011 13:42

What's the discount code?

paddypoopants · 20/04/2011 13:51

Thanks Belle for this thread- I always wanted a pair but not at £££ and I've managed to get a pair of white ones online- size 6. Fingers crossed they fit.
