Are we having a Boden frenzy?

I think we are in danger of succumbing to Johnnie's foreplay- and he is working us up into t right lather.
The thought of 40% off has got us all weak at the knees.

I bet it will be 40% off all the horrible crap no one wants.

i am an 8-10 in Boden knitwear and ordered the 10 in the boatneck. It is fine - not tight and not too short

Sorry OWW just come back to the thread. The boatneck is true to size. I always order a size 10 for knitwear and jackets at Boden and it is perfect. Think a size 8 (my actual size) would be too snug.

It is kind of boxy in shape but in a semi-fitted way. I certainly wouldn't want it any more close fitting.

well, I was right, the dress is going back, need to order another size up so fits across the hips, but then i think it's going to be way to big on the top. but will try, the dress is lovely, and lined so good quality

leather trimmed tote looks cheap and nasty, is going back for a refund. really poor quality , looks like cost a £5 from the market. v v disappointed.

lulu - I ordered that bag in the preview - absolutely agree with your view. Also too puny to be a real tote.
vjg - not sure if I'm surprised Boden have more than 10.000 customers or not. There are certainly lots round here. Obviously JB didn't take monarchist or otherwise sympathies into account in choosing bunting recipients!!

I ordered at 7am on the first day of the sale... so why don't I get bunting?

Not that I'd actually want it, I'm not entirely sure that it would go with the Plaid Cymru posters that our street are all displaying in the front windows before the assembly elections... but still, if its going free?

hmmmm.
I sneaked open the box today - chambray dress is OK, nothing special. I did find it rather baggy and having too much material above the drawstring waist.
The bags are awful and a bit small - the plastic looking ones.

Awaiting my lady dresses, maybe tomorrow they'll arrive.

Morag the chambray dress takes some working. It is looser on the top than you might expect. It definitely isn't a throw it on first time and it looks fab dress. It took me a while to work out which tops I could layer it with and which ones looked awful. I do love it though and tis now the first dress I turn to on days where I am fed up wearing jeans but not feeling girlie enough for a dress.

Have just booked a week in St Ives. DH saying I will now have to return all recent purchases as it will be wall to wall Boden there Hmm.

I'm waiting for my chambray dress to arrive and now feel it stands a chance of not going back if as you say there is more fabric in the top, will fir over my extra large norks :o

AnonymousBird - I wear slim fit bretons and long sleeve tees. Also vest tops but only certain colours (I have a grass green & white striped vest from Boden which looks good - bought a couple of years ago).

You need to wear something quite fine knit otherwise it looks and feels quite bulky, imo.

Have also worn it sans layers and I like it. Would look better with a tan and the buttons undone to cleavage level

mumtoted would def be good for those blessed of nork. I am not but I like the top being looser with this.

If you don't iron it, it stays close fitting all over. Unfortunately I don't like the crinkle look - makes me feel like a slattern!

Haven't had a flippin chance to get to my box, nice weather means we've been out to playground/picnic/buy new paddling pool. Haven't had two seconds to myself, let alone long enough to open the sodding box!

Grrrrr. Thank god for 3 month return times, I might need it....

Oh my Elegant jersey cardigan thing (non sale, but at least I had 15% off) has been dispatched, despite it saying 3 week wait so that should be here tomorrow.....

I received a box today! The linen dress in 3 colours to try....but the fit is strange on me. I sized down after reading reviews but it just looks a bit odd on the top. Plus my knickers were glaringly obvious through it.

I did my sale shopping yesterday - surprisingly they still had lots in my size from the non-hideous ranges left.

Just FYI too - I've done this before and its worked so might help others; if you order from Boden and then they have a better offer on a few days later just call them and ask them to apply the bigger discount to your original order rather than ordering again.. saves them the postage so I guess it makes sense for them to do it. I've always found their customer service really good actually.

off to see if the delivery has arrived yet even though its only been a few hours since I ordered
