Are we having a Boden frenzy?

I think we are in danger of succumbing to Johnnie's foreplay- and he is working us up into t right lather.
The thought of 40% off has got us all weak at the knees.

I bet it will be 40% off all the horrible crap no one wants.

oh bugger blossoming - that sounds like a right palaver. Hope the next size is good. Was it too small all over? Am trying to gage what the sizing is like. From the reviews, it sounds as though the top half is very roomy but the bottom half is more fitted. Which is odd as it looks quite A-line to me on the site Confused

neolara - I have last year's red skinny jeans from Johnnie B and ordered a vintage wash pair from this year's batch. Oh and just remembered that I also have 2 long sleeve tees and a dress too from last year

I am a size 8-10 in Boden stuff and bought size 30L in the skinny jeans but a medium in the dress and tops. TBH, I could have got away with a small in the tops......DS1 and I will be doing some swapping of clothes soon as he has a couple of small sized tees from the teen boys range which I secretly covet Blush

I have never paid full price for Boden - unless I have at least a 15% discount, I don't buy. I suspect Mr Boden probably marks stuff up in the first place, knowing that he will be giving everyone 10% - 15% off... there's a psychology to that!

I can't seem to stop myself - have ordered boatneck in purple and satchel in brown, hope it arrives before we go off on holiday on Monday, think the boatneck could be handy in Yorkshire

tulpe, my express delivery arrived at 8.30 this morning and the 10R is perfect. I am 5'7 and it's a good few inches above the knee. It is more fitted on bottom half and not a line. I am a bit of a rectangle, although shoulders wider than hips. Very slight waist and 34Cs.

I ordered the chiffon trim v neck Cardigan too as I happened to notice a hole in last year's boyfriend version just before I placed the order. Love it.

Congrats on the dress Bloss :) Sounds as though I may need to trade up to a 10R but shall hold fire until I have tried on the 8.

katy1katy - I have the boatneck in navy and carnation. Both gorgeous. Is the silver a bright pearly grey?

Love that satchel but I have something very similar already.

It's ok Katy I'm doing Paul McKenna and my food obsession seems to have moved itself on to clothing Grin luckily Boden is a cheap thrill as once it arrives 95% of it goes back

Tulpe & Katy - whats the sizing of the boat neck jumper like? Am all set to order but confused by the reviews - some say roomy and boxy and others say snug! I'm normally a 12 (tho did get caught out with the cropped cardi as ordered 2 different colours and one was fine and the other was too small - hate it when that happens).

lol ab i often do that, i get my orders delivered to work and they often stay there for a few days smuggled in in dribs and drabs. shouldnt bother me really as we're not married or even living together, so it is my money to spend freely.
my order not here yet but the office is closed today and no post so hopefully monday.

Just had my delivery of the one button cardigan, I ordered the navy and silver and the navy is a definite keeper. The silver is nice but seems much smaller at least an inch shorter and the button pulls when fastened which is never a good look, trying to decide whether or not to re-order or just get a refund, seems such a bargain at £29 instead of £59.

OOOOO, apple, I also have the one button in navy under the sodding bed in a sodding box...

I am utterly tragically sad. I have way overordered, and most will go back. But when DH sees those Boden Boxes he gets all twitchy, as let's face one box can easily contain several hundred pounds worth!

Luckily today, though, it had been delivered whilst we were out and I was first back (phew!) to find it in the porch...

I got the one button in navy too and am pleased with it.

My DH is inured to the almost daily (at the moment) appearance of the spotty bags and accepts that at least some go back - though probably doesn't believe that most do, even though that is in fact the case! He actually admitted the cardi looked good over my stripy tunics today.

I also got a strange email from Johnny B apologising for not having sent my (presumably patriotic) 'bunting' with the order. Didn't know I was supposed to receive any. Has anyone else got any?? If it appears, will offer it up for our Royal Wedding street party. In our road could probably decorate with Boden bunting from end to end!

I sent 4 parcels back to Boden yesterday. I didn't want any to go missing. It will come to about £200 between everything. Luckily DH leaves me to it. He has no idea what I spend. I have been working though, and ebaying full speed!
No mention of bunting here polyhymnia. Just as well. Wouldn't like to see Dh's face if some turned up Wink.
