I think we are in danger of succumbing to Johnnie's foreplay- and he is working us up into t right lather.
The thought of 40% off has got us all weak at the knees.
No?

I bet it will be 40% off all the horrible crap no one wants.
You are warned.

I think the sale has ended now.... Boden frenzy over until the next time?!!!

kittya · 22/04/2011 17:01

But the reduced stuff must go into the clearance section then?

hattymattie · 22/04/2011 17:41

No it's back on full price but after lots of dithering I've finally resisted until the end of season sale.(congratulates self and heaves sigh of relief).

kittya · 22/04/2011 17:47

I reckon it won't be long before the spend £30 get £10 off comes out. It's so expensive otherwise

herecomesthsun · 22/04/2011 17:56

Hmmm I was wondering whether there will be some supa dupa offer over the Royal Wedding weekend (to capitalise on the drunken celebratory mood). I think that's what I'd do, were I an online clothes retailer.

Meggles76 · 22/04/2011 20:20

Yes, what has happened to the spend £30 get £10 off this season?

CointreauVersial · 22/04/2011 23:33

Well, the parcel finally arrived while I was at the beach yesterday.

The Avignon jacket is nice, but I wish I hadn't sized up, like everyone suggested, as the 12 is a teeny weeny bit wide on me. I had also somehow failed to spot that it has 3/4 length sleeves! The pansy colour is lovely, so I'll probably stick with it, because it does look nice on, and will be a useful little jacket.

The Layered Chiffon cardi in Eau de Nil is really sweet; does anyone know if it washes OK, or do the little chiffon circles turn to shreds? I wouldn't have paid full-price, but it's another keeper, I think.

But no scarf? Not even any crumby bunting! I think I need to have words.

Buddhastic · 23/04/2011 07:42

I bought the metropolitan shopper in Mink and I dont like it aargh! It may have been liked more if I had a 'free scarf'...you really have pissed me off Johnnie.

kittya · 23/04/2011 10:05

I'm now wondering whether I will wear my silk scarf. I'm not really a silk scarf person

moragbellingham · 23/04/2011 10:44

Don't think there will be a £10 off £30 will there?

I'm not a silk scarf person either, doesn't suit my lifestyle (chaotic!) at the mo although I do like a cotton one.

The espadrilles are apparently on their way, yay!

Meggles76 · 23/04/2011 17:53

My silver pumps are also apparently on their way.
Can anyone tell me - if I am an 8 - 10 in adult Boden - what size would I need in Johnnie B?

tulpe · 23/04/2011 18:52

Meggles - you need a medium in dresses and tops. If it is very close fitting however you may want to think of a large. Jeans you need a 30 - either regular or long. Last year I had the 30L skinny jeans but this year they are too long and have returned for regular length.

Meggles76 · 23/04/2011 19:26

thank you tulpe Smile.

moragbellingham · 24/04/2011 21:32

I'm a 10/12 in adult and usually go for the johnnie b XL or 32 inch waist jeans(30 in the adult range thoHmm??).
Sometimes can get away with a L so......same old Boden story of varying sizes and needing to order two!

Meggles76 · 26/04/2011 21:52

The silver pumps arrived today and someone asked me to report back on what they were like. They are quite shiny but toned down by the darker laces. I really like and they will be good for hols.

moragbellingham · 27/04/2011 09:56

Reporting back on the elastic espadrilles - love them!
Good heel height and comfortable.

moragbellingham · 27/04/2011 10:20

Tulpe the "straw" linen dress should be re-named "dijon" as it's euughhhh.

cardoon · 27/04/2011 11:11

I agree morag - boden can't do yellow!

tulpe · 27/04/2011 11:19

Morag - I did wonder, tbh. I find yellow difficult to wear anyway but "dijon" would make me look dead, frankly!

aLegonEachCorner · 27/04/2011 13:51

My free "Dotty Scarf" arrived today.

Not sure I'll ever wear it, though.

However, loved the items I bought at excellent 49% off prices!!!

blossoming · 27/04/2011 17:19

Anyone know the whereabouts of the wedge ankle tie espadrilles? I'm back from holiday (dresses were a huge hit) and nada.
The chiffon trim cardigan was indispensable!

Lipstickgal · 27/04/2011 18:21

Has anyone tried out the Maxi dresses with the sparkles?

polyhymnia · 27/04/2011 18:58

Meggles 76 I think it was me who asked for feedback on the silver pumps. Thanks for providing it. However, I meant 'pump' to mean the 'soft leather pumps', which come in silver and I was vaguely considering.

I think you're using 'pump' to mean plimsoll (as my DH does - do you come from the North like him by any chance?). If so, I actually have the silver Boden plimsolls and agree with you the laces are a nice contrast - am pleased with them and glad you are .

moragbellingham · 27/04/2011 19:51

The wedge espadrilles are back with a one week wait for all colours.

moragbellingham · 27/04/2011 19:53

Do you like alot of toe cleavage Poly? The pumps are very low cut or I have long, long toes!
