I think we are in danger of succumbing to Johnnie's foreplay- and he is working us up into t right lather.
The thought of 40% off has got us all weak at the knees.

I bet it will be 40% off all the horrible crap no one wants.

Can I just say that the womens mercury safari spot scarf is gorgeous, I bought it about 2 weeks ago at 20% off (sob) and have been wearing it continously

It is a bit poor isn't it? I got a top for me and one for DD1, used the 15% voucher (thanks AnonymousBird!) plus DH had a £10 off voucher so that made it about 64% off in total (I think!) which is acceptable! £20 rather than £55 originally.

kittya I bought the clogs in brown but sent them back because I wasn't too sure about the colour and wished I had ordered in red ( then I remembered I already had a pair of red shoes) I thought they were quite nice, worth a try at the sale price

thanks used the code too and bought a couple of the one button merino wool cardigans. couldn't decide on navy or atlantic blue. pleased to not pay postage and save another fiver.

didn't really want anything else but i did like this in the first place. everything is so marked up in the first place isn't it.

alemci - what do you intend wearing your one button cardis with? I have been looking at those but can't decide if I will actually get any wear out of them. I like the style but not sure they would work for me? And I am so fed up with buying stuff that I like on impulse but doesn't actually work with my wardrobe.

good point tulpe. probably jeans,leggings (making sure my bum is covered) or trousers. i don't have any skirts like the one in the catalogue.

I wear alot of blue so I am hoping it will go with something.

I do like their knitwear

tulpe hello again. And alemci Have been going through same thing on one-button cardi in navy. Has great reviews, but what would I wear it with?

They suggest over 'stripy' layering pieces, and I have several striped long tees/tunics but don't know if that would look any good with them ... Or when I would wear that as opposed to my parka or trench. It has a low neck as well as short sleeves, so not sure how much warmth it would really add. Perhaps the idea is just to give a different 'look' to existing tops.

I am certainly not having a frenzy. I need new trousers and shorts for DS but annoyingly, none of the nice ones are on sale. Grrr at Johnnie for getting my hopes up needlessly.

will forget the one button cardigan then. Seems a bit emperors new clothes Wink Either it is cold enough to warrant a full on cardi or it is tee shirt weather!

have ordered 2 scarves and the top that tulpe got- the line short sleeved tank top thingy.

don't know what you lot mean about the site being confusing- if you select all colours so you see every garment in every colour, the sale prices are clear as crystal!

Ha! They have now added "sale" signs on specific garments I noticed :) Do you think JB has been monitoring our discussions Hmm?!

cabbageroses - have you seen the price on the Avignon jacket now? Still not tempted? I put it in the basket this morning but took it out again before paying! I can't decide if I need it or not....! Was wondering if it might look really nice in the Eau de Nil with a navy tee and jeans?
