Anyone ordered this from The White Co?

Quite fancy it in navy, with tan flat sandals, big bracelet and a denim jacket.

withagoat · 12/03/2011 16:59

oi said how tight is waist and it it bust enhancing ( in a bad way)

vintageteacups · 12/03/2011 17:01

withagoat I was joking Wink

It's not tight on waist as material slightly stretchy. So, fitted from knees to hips and then front panel is drapey from bottom of stomach upwards and back is still fitted. Hmm, maybe I need to try it on again.

Dunno about bust enhancing as it's not a problem I have, unfortunately

withagoat · 12/03/2011 17:21

Lovely as long as you are over five 8 and a size 10. With a tan.

Nice shirt though.

foundwanting · 12/03/2011 20:11

I've got this.

I wear it with a proper belt, not that scruffy bit of cloth. The sleeves are actually 3/4 length when not rolled up. Very soft denim.

scattyspice · 12/03/2011 20:41

foundwanting, the link says sold out and there's no picture Sad. I had my hopes up too.

perfectmummy · 12/03/2011 21:27

sorry for the hijack but to the ladies who bought the ebay wallis dress ( i also have had my eye on them for a while), whats the sizing like? I think wallis come up quite big? Am I currect. I have a very small bust and its a bit of a risk buying from ebay.
I love wearing dresses and often where thwm for the school run!

cornsilk678 · 12/03/2011 21:38

Mines about right on me. I ordered a 12.

foundwanting · 12/03/2011 22:21

scattyspice Could be my linking that is messing it up?

It's called 'Distinctive Denim Dress' and is on the Joe Brown website. Although the sleeves look shorter than last year's version. I think Very has JB stuff too.

scattyspice · 13/03/2011 10:11

Thanks foundwanting I'll go and look.

QueeferSutherland · 13/03/2011 12:01

Denim shirt dress.
Just look how happy the model looks!

I bought this little beauty on Friday. I know it's quite floral, but it looks lush on. And it has sleeves, which are a must with my KP encrusted bingo-wings.
I sized down. (Yay!)

I like the shape of your fat face dress QueeferSutherland. Fatface are a bit of a dress free zone aren't they?

BulletWithAName · 13/03/2011 15:13

I bought this the other week. I am now desperate for the weather to warm up so I can wear it!

BattyNora · 13/03/2011 15:20

Ooops with a child in year 7 and another in year 5 I have just realised I never grasped the "getting dressed for the school run" concept.Blush

Its never actually occurred to me and I have never really paid much attention to anyone else either- going to start looking now.

Suppose its abit late to start now.

QueeferSutherland · 14/03/2011 10:45

Batty, don't worry, it's not about getting dressed up for the other mums, it's about having something to throw on at 2.10 when you've been doing your gardening in a bikini top and shorts.Smile

Or chucking on a dress in the morning that will take you on the school run, then to the shops etc.

My DD catches a bus, so it's all academic really, but I spend ages choosing seperates, so like a dress.
