OP posts:
cyb · 11/02/2011 17:19

yes interchangeable heads would be ggrrreat

OP posts:
cornsilk · 11/02/2011 17:35

well it moves on the hot setting Confused is that a rotate then?

cyb · 11/02/2011 17:39

its only supposed to rotate (ie goes round and round!!) on the hot settings. It doesnt on the colder setting. It whirrrs faster in hottest

OP posts:
alemci · 11/02/2011 18:03

it should spin on both settings but not the first one. I think it is a good product but preferred it on my hair when it was slightly longer.

cornsilk · 11/02/2011 18:03

I reckon I've got a duff one

pointylug · 11/02/2011 19:30

corns, have you read the fucking instructions?

(I am swearing constantly these days, btw. DOn't take it personally.)

WincyEtNightie · 11/02/2011 19:54

pointylug you should work for Argos with those customer service skills Grin

KirstyJC · 11/02/2011 19:58

Hi

I bought this today and have only tried it once, but I'm not convinced. Is there a knack to using this?

I do have very long fine hair with no layers, so it is quite heavy - maybe I was a bit optimistic about how well it would add volume?

Can you do it on dry hair? I only wash it every other day. I will try it again tomorrow. It does seem like you lot love it!

pointylug · 11/02/2011 20:06

I would love that, wincy. To be a very rude customer services person. That would suit me to a tee just now. That has made me smile.

traceybath · 11/02/2011 20:11

I think for my perfect hair for going out purposes I need to BBH and then GHD the ends.

Have shortish choppyish bob and fine hair.

And am using crap shampoo at the moment as stupid lookfantastic seem unable to deliver my normal shampoo within 10 days.

JillyWillyPops · 11/02/2011 20:58

Cornsilk - you don't need a box or receipt to return anything to Argos. If you go to the customer service desk and tell them the date and rough time you bought it they will happily exchange. I have done this before with a duff argos purchase :)

Undertone · 11/02/2011 21:34

Am buying this after all the palaver on here and watching the tutorials on tinterweb. Argosing it tomorrow pre big night out.

I can't imagine having salon-looking hair all week. It would blow my mind.

cyb · 12/02/2011 11:15

Went for a run, came back hair looked like SHIT

A few whirrs later, looks fab. its soo good at revamping flat hair

I think I might have banged on about it for long enough now though...

OP posts:
cornsilk · 12/02/2011 13:48

no-one told me you had to press something to make it whirr

dubaipieeye · 12/02/2011 18:09

Ooooh these sound good - not sure we have the technology in Dubai yet so hadn't heard of it before...are they any good for proper curly hair (lots of ringlets from me Irish Daddy)?

cyb · 12/02/2011 18:20
