I was even pleased when my hair got wet walking back from work today so I could dry it again

So do you BBL and then straighten or jusy BBL, as when I am in hairdressers they do boht, but I have veyr thick prone to frizz/kink hair.

laosvher · 10/02/2011 22:47

Mine rotates on the two hot settings

It does, on the slightly less hotter one it's slower - that one's for styling, the hottest one is for drying

MmeLindt · 10/02/2011 22:51

Yes, they should both rotate. Just the cool one doesn't.

I have not used my straightners since I bought the BBL. I have fine, wavy fly-away hair that is prone to frizzing.

Redfox · 10/02/2011 22:51

Thanks, just checked again & it just rotates on hottest.

Bum, will have to go back to boots to exchange as still have receipt as this gadget is a keeper

cornsilk · 10/02/2011 22:54

mine doesn't spin - I didn't know they were meant to spin Sad

Redfox · 10/02/2011 22:55

Oh you need them to spin

MmeLindt · 10/02/2011 22:56

Cornsilk
Take it back, you got a dud one.

fedupworking · 10/02/2011 22:58

I also love mine but find they are drying my hair a bit, dont' know what product to use with it as Im only using moose just now

moragbellingham · 11/02/2011 08:16

I've now realised that it rotates rather than just wobbles and I have gloriously bouffant hair.
My hair is very fine so the effect doesn't last long but am glad I bought it.

BTW
Robert Days £35
Asda £22.50 - if you can find one, that is.

moragbellingham · 11/02/2011 08:18

I use Charles Worthington Front Row heat defence spray or some blue goo in the same range.

mrsshackleton · 11/02/2011 09:46

Am with the meh gang

It's fine but not amazing, it does bouff my hair up a bit and my hair often does tangle in it

My hair is long rhough, friends with shorter hair look better. Plus am still not sure I am using it correctly Blush

FreeButtonBee · 11/02/2011 10:04

My friend who spends a fortune on blow drys at the hairdressers complimented my hair at the weekend. That never happens. Mostly my hair just sits there being straight and a bit fuzzy and then immediately turning to grease. Now it positively swishes. Less greasy because if you give it a go over before bed (v quickly - am talking 2 mins tops), it redistributes the oil and stops your roots becoming a skanky mess. Result is two day hair that looks good on day two.

Deaddei · 11/02/2011 12:17

Lol struwelpeter.
I may have to get one.Saw them in Currys as I. was getting a new iron.

cyb · 11/02/2011 13:18

becareful when you lie your head on the ironing board Dead

Straighteners ARE better you know...

OP posts:
pinktortoise · 11/02/2011 13:20

My hair is about collar length with shorter layers. Naturally curly but always styled straight. I like my hair straight at the ends can the BBH do this or does it flick ends out or under?? Am v.tempted but think maybe drying and straightners may work better?

cyb · 11/02/2011 13:29

Its adds body- ends would prob curl under slightly but you could straighten them I suppose after

Right, have just ordered from Amazon. Blush Just about saved myself from paying £8 extra for next day delivery.

This place costs me a fortune. Grr. It had better work miracles Grin

Cristiane · 11/02/2011 15:20

nappy I am a lost case when it comes to blow drying hair. I didn't even have a hairdryer for several years. One go with the BBH and now I am a genius! I also am receiving complements about my hair

nappyaddict · 11/02/2011 15:35

I wish my birthday wasn't all the way in August!!

FluffyMummy123 · 11/02/2011 16:02

cornsilk · 11/02/2011 16:48

I have discovered that mine rotates on hot setting.

cornsilk · 11/02/2011 16:49

it doesn't spin though and I threw out the box

WincyEtNightie · 11/02/2011 16:51

Cornsilk, if it's faulty I'd take it back without the box.
