I was even pleased when my hair got wet walking back from work today so I could dry it again

I spin up to the roots and back again. I am the laziest hair do person imaginable but I actually enjoy doing this for some reason, it's weirdly fun

laosvher · 10/02/2011 20:20

Kerstina, there is a cool option! It's the one with the snowflake next to it. Or the 3rd one down - not the hottest, the warm, and the setting before 'off' Smile

kerstina · 10/02/2011 20:21

I think mine is faulty then as it does not workSad

FluffyMummy123 · 10/02/2011 20:23

right you sods
im going to get one

DuplicitousBitch · 10/02/2011 20:23

i think it is the emperor's new hair, i don't think it makes any difference. do you have before and after pics cyb?

laosvher · 10/02/2011 20:24

It's just not very... cooling Confused
Mine doesn't work either - but the setting's there!

FluffyMummy123 · 10/02/2011 20:28

no but google images it and you see mmelindors

amzing transformation Wink

Deaddei · 10/02/2011 20:34

I am intrigued-I have a choppy bob and poker straight hair which goes nice and pouffy when dried properly.
Would it work cyb?

LadyBiscuit · 10/02/2011 20:49

It makes a massive difference to my hair Duplicitous. From fuzzy mop to sleek bob thing. Even after getting soaked in the rain today my hair still looks pretty good

kerstina · 10/02/2011 20:51

Well it blows air on cool setting but does not spin ! Does yours spin on the snowflake laosver ? or just does not feel cool ? Got it around xmas but have been looking for receipt but have not found it yet do you think boots will still exchange as its guaranteed for 3 years ?

DuplicitousBitch · 10/02/2011 20:54

so they are like straighteners?

i have alot of hair, the concept of making it bigger doesn't really appeal

laosvher · 10/02/2011 20:59

No, doesn't spin on cool
I spin it up to the roots and then cool after holding for a few seconds just to set it some

laosvher · 10/02/2011 21:00

They aren't straighteners, it's a hair dryer that spins to mimic how a hairdresser uses the brush, round and round

kerstina · 10/02/2011 21:04

Thanks i see so it is supposed to be like that as opposed to ours being faulty ? Thanks for your imput Smile

cyb · 10/02/2011 21:09

Dead it gives volume and shine and smoothness like a good blow dry or rollers would. It seems to stay overnight and be easy to pouff up lifeless hair too

I'm not posting any pics-my hair is not long enough yet

cant wait for it to be though

got mine from here, was a fiver cheaper last week though!

icod I thought of you as I whirrred, you and your rollers

pissedrightoff · 10/02/2011 21:09

DuplicitousBitch I also have tonnes of hair and was worried about it being too BIG, not the case, all it needs is a quick run over with the ghd's and hair is swooshy and silky.

I can get about 3 days out of a blow-dry now.(batiste on the roosts on day 3)

shufflebum · 10/02/2011 21:11

I must be the only person who isn't ecstatic with theirs. It's just a bit 'meh' for me doesn't seem to do much, looks nice for a while but I don't find it holds, even with product.
Think I'll probably put it on ebay and save for a brazillian blow dry instead.

DuplicitousBitch · 10/02/2011 21:16

i think i would be like you shuffle, my hair tends to have its own way.

it is all v. reminiscent of the great 'diffuser' boom of hte late 80's

cyb · 10/02/2011 21:17

Yes i have a diffuser languishing in my wardrobe, the hairdryer it belongs to long ditched...I LOVED diffusing my hair

OP posts:
DuplicitousBitch · 10/02/2011 21:18

thank you cyb! milord i rest my case

scottishmummy · 10/02/2011 21:20

dont get what all the fuss about.im nonplussed with it

kerstina · 10/02/2011 21:21

No its better than that. I don't normally use hair dryers just leave to try naturally but i have made the effort to use the big hair as it makes a difference.

shufflebum · 10/02/2011 21:28

Phew, not just me then. I think I own every hair gadget invented and have never been overwhelmed with any of them. I think the best one I have is a Babyliss Be Liss which is like a hair dryer with a straightening attachment on it. The rest just sit gathering dust although my crimpers are awaiting a revival I'm sure! Wink

felicity10 · 10/02/2011 21:29

So I've got long fine hair, and lots of it.

Tell me, am I really going to be impressed with this.

Do you promise it not be joining my big rollers, expensive straighteners and big blow drying brushes in the back of my cupboard?

How long does it take to use, do you have to do really small sections?

scottishmummy · 10/02/2011 21:30

adequate but not up the hype (for me anyhoo) other folks rave bout it
