I was even pleased when my hair got wet walking back from work today so I could dry it again

Can somebody tell me if they are any good on fine, but naturally very curly and frizzy hair?
Does it straighten the hair as well as dry it?

ssd · 12/02/2011 18:45

checked asda website and it says 45.oo not 22.50??

want this desperately but cant afford 45.00, where can I get one cheaper people?

OgreTripletsAreSoCute · 12/02/2011 19:00

My hair is a mixture of curly and wavy, the BBH loosens the curls considerably and makes them swishy and bouncy as opposed to ringletty. It also consirably reduces frizz.

Pollyanna · 12/02/2011 19:44

I have one but it broke yesterday Sad it won't move round anymore - any ideas why anyone? How can I fix it?

also, I have straight fine greasy hair (I'm really selling myself here I know), is the moroccan oil ok for greasers too?

WincyEtNightie · 12/02/2011 19:55

ssd Looks like it is only £22.50 at some Asda stores Sad

Worth a try though!

ilythia · 12/02/2011 20:55

Damn you MN, DH sent me to argos to pick something up for him and I succumbed...

Tried it on my 3 day hair and it looked less greasy and actually nice and shiny.
Shall report back tomorrow with lovely fresh morning hair (hey, it's study day today give me a breakGrin)

FellatioNelson · 13/02/2011 09:55

Tut. You should not use the BBH on soaking wet hair anyway. It should be blasted at the roots and rough dried to 80% dry first, with a normal dryer. Do none of you read the instructions? Angry

(referring to comments pages back - sorry if this has already been addressed.)

ssd · 13/02/2011 12:12

thanks

ilythia · 13/02/2011 14:30

My hair is BIG.
I wrapped it in a towel for 10 minutes, combed it and then used the BBH, worked brilliantly, so swishy and bouncy. But I am so not used ot it I feel like my head is massive.

DH says that 'it is big but it balances out your face'Hmm

ilythia · 13/02/2011 14:31

Oh, going to use it to dry DD1's hair later, she weeps all the way through with a hairdryer and actually asked me to brush her hair with the BBH ealier, so fingers crossed that will help hugely.

mrsshackleton · 13/02/2011 20:34

kirstyjc - I've posted on a few threads saying I wasn't convinced but I've just had a good couple of inches chopped off my hair and it's now working much better. I think it's deffo better on shorter hair

cyb · 13/02/2011 20:35

CORNY

Please tell me you knew about the pressing buttons?

You just took it straight out of the box wihtout reading instructions didnt you?

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when you took it back all disgruntled

mrsshackleton - thanks for that, I was wondering why it was just me that didn't seem to love it! I do like it, it does give some volume but not much and it doesn't last long (even with lots of hairspray!).

I am planning to have my annual haircut soon Blush so will make sure I give it a fair go after that. Smile
