Mine...
Bourjois bio detox foundation. One of the worst i've ever tried. Patchy, blotchy, horrid texture, impossible to blend.
Also..MAC's Newly Minted matte eyeshadow. What a disappointment! The colour is gorgeous. I chose matte finish as have quite oily lids and thought it would therefore have better staying power. I used with their Painterly base and it still wouldn't stay put! It creased terribly within half an hour.
Has anyone else found this re Mac eyeshadows? Am i applying wrong? Used a sponge applicator.

have you tried Clinique eye shadows? they are a lot more dry and chalky - never crease, just fade by the end of the day.

coastgirl · 01/02/2011 06:38

I bought some really expensive Nars cream blush online. The colour and texture is great but it's glittery, which was not mentioned anywhere. How often can I wear a glittery blush? I don't work at Studio 54.

Wordsonascreen · 01/02/2011 06:48

the garnier rollerball dark circle eye thingy

crap and just sat there : impossible to blend and an odd colour

KenDoddsDadsDog · 01/02/2011 06:55

Elemis melting cleansing gel. Nowhere near as good as their others.

cabbageroses · 01/02/2011 08:43

L'Oreal Architect mascara. was trying to save money as usually use lancome Hypnose. it gives your lashes a very brittle feel- and spikey look- AND it is impossible to open the wand once some of it has dried round the top. IYSWIM.

AvaBanana · 01/02/2011 08:47

That 'miracle' Elizabeth Arden cream that you can use for everything. Except it was crap on everything - face, lips, hands etc.

Lulumaam · 01/02/2011 08:49

got a new 17 mascara, meant to have metallic pigments in to enhance your eyes, i got the black/copper combo
www.boots.com/en/17-Photo-Flawless-mascara_1150610/ but it is just black mascara IMO, can't see any difference

SuperTheoryofSuperEverything · 01/02/2011 09:18

Protect and Perfect serum, it did nothing for me...

I hate the elizabeth arden cream too, it smells vile and is way too sticky.

cornsilk · 01/02/2011 09:26

bliss socks - had wanted them for ages but they are crap. Plastic bag and flexitol does a better job.

ullainga · 01/02/2011 09:26

I know everybody will tell me how wrong I am, but set of Bare Escentuals.
Yes, it covers. But looking natural, as advertised? Heck no, it looks so obvious, caked, my pores look like craters..And yes I have read and watched all possible "how to apply" materials so I can only guess that it's simply not for everybody. No, back to my Dior it is.

SuperTheoryofSuperEverything · 01/02/2011 09:28

ullainga, how old are you? I think minerals work better on younger skin.

3gorgeousboys · 01/02/2011 09:28

Benefit Lemonaid, eyelid primer. Awful, just awful.

SuperTheoryofSuperEverything · 01/02/2011 09:29

I love Lemonaid! Did you buy it from ebay perchance?

cornsilk · 01/02/2011 09:29

that benefit red liquid stuff for cheeks is crap as well - along with the shimmery liquid stuff. I bought that after seeing it raved about on here.

3gorgeousboys · 01/02/2011 09:32

Hi supertheory, no I got it from Boots. It's just soooo lemon! Makes me look a bit ghostly, and makes my eyeshadow look weird. V.Disappointed.

RMCW · 01/02/2011 09:33

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream.

Like very expensive vaseline.

cornsilk · 01/02/2011 09:34

I can't be without 8 hour cream.

sungirltan · 01/02/2011 09:34

protect and perfect serum - what does it even do?

benefit bad gal mascara - just makes a mess

sungirltan · 01/02/2011 09:34

MayorNaze · 01/02/2011 09:35

ullainga · 01/02/2011 09:35

Super, I'm 32 and don't have any wrinkles, so not really ancient yet.

charitygirl · 01/02/2011 09:35

Garnier under eye rollerball caffeine doodab (not the tinted one). WHAT a load of crap.

coastgirl · 01/02/2011 09:37

Yes on the Bad Gal and lemonaid - Urban Decay eyeshadow Primer Potion much much better.

CalamityKate · 01/02/2011 09:37

Totally agree about the Benefit Badgal mascara - I got the plum one on recommendation and it smeared all over the place and made me look as if my eyes were bleeding.

Rannaldini · 01/02/2011 09:43

benefit and mac mascaras are all rubbish as far as i can see
benetint...shittola
clinique scruffing lotion ...seems to be almost neat vodka

love 8 hr cream though
