I didn't like to call it a dive in case you had friends or relatives there Grin But blimey it's horrendous! It really opened our eyes, we didn't realise people still lived like that. There were some right dodgy characters walking about. We put the car a couple of streets away in a "car park" which was a bit of ground with a fence around it, guarded by a dope-smoking, long-haired man. We paid him £7 which we didn't think was too bad, we pay £5 when we go to Old Trafford. When we got back in the car, the people in the car next to us said they'd paid £15!! Can't believe they actually paid it, I'd have said no thank you we'll go elsewhere. Actually, no I probably wouldn't have in case he had a flippin' gun in his pocket!

Wonder where everyone else is? Thought Squirrel would be here by now

Squirrel3 · 03/03/2006 20:32

Hello, is anybody drunk yet?

I've just got in from looking after the grandkids. Dp told me to lie to you and tell you that we had been having wild rampant sex on the lounge floor!

NotActuallyAMum · 03/03/2006 20:36

Hello Squirrel Smile

Tell your DP there's a risk of carpet burns if you do that - not nice! That's carpet burns are not nice, wild rampant sex is nice...

Have you heard from FANC lately? Thought she was joining us

workingmumnhs · 03/03/2006 20:37

Hello Squirrel.

NAAM they must have like the look of you to only charge you £7. It is a bit of that. You get a price and run the chance of giving it up and going somewhere else and getting charged twice.

That is merseyside from my experience. Liverpool is worse. Wirral is relatively posh compared to there

Squirrel3 · 03/03/2006 20:39

Well Naam, you seem to know all about carpet burns, had loads of experience of them have you? Wink

So,, who is manning the \link{http://www.wedgewoodhotel.com/downloads/bar-1.jpg\bar} then?

I'll have a pernod and black please. Grin

OP posts:
Squirrel3 · 03/03/2006 20:41

I haven't heard from FANC for a while, I know she has been ill but I had hoped that she would be better and able to join us this evening.

I was going to email her today but dd wanted me to help out with the kids so I didn't have time.

OP posts:
workingmumnhs · 03/03/2006 20:43

NotActuallyAMum · 03/03/2006 20:43

To insert a link to a web site, type
\link{url\description} - where url is the .... address of the site, and description is the text you want to appear in your message. So to link to bbc news you could type
have a look at \link{http://news.bbc.co.uk\this}

OP posts:
NotActuallyAMum · 03/03/2006 20:49

For a link I find it's easier to go onto the site you want to do the link to, copy and paste the website address then put in the \link{ before it and the } after it. Instructions are at the bottom of the "emoticon" box

That probably makes no sense whatsoever Blush

workingmumnhs · 03/03/2006 20:50

{http://www.showmercy.co.uk/gallery/images/mmick_05_Scallys.jpg} I hope this works

Squirrel3 · 03/03/2006 20:50

Oh poop! that didn't work, I'll try again.

OP posts:
NotActuallyAMum · 03/03/2006 20:55

workingmumnhs · 03/03/2006 20:56
