YAAAAAAAAAY!!!

Bet that's the longest thread in MN history

LooptheLoop · 16/01/2006 16:26

And definitely the nuttiest!

Squirrel3 · 16/01/2006 16:32

So far.....

Just read yesterdays BB posts again - that was so funny

Squirrel3 · 17/01/2006 09:17

I have these moments of madness sometimes!

Hello how are you doing?

Got a driving lesson at 9.30 so tell everybody you know to stay off the roads!!!!

OP posts:
NotActuallyAMum · 17/01/2006 09:23

lol Squirrel

Hope the lesson goes well

Someone is asking for you in Teenagers - wants to know what happened with dss bed sheets

Squirrel3 · 17/01/2006 09:24

Oh No! and there's me with my serious face on today!

OP posts:
NotActuallyAMum · 17/01/2006 09:28

That looks like me first thing in the morning

Squirrel3 · 17/01/2006 11:17

Thought you might like this.

NotActuallyAMum · 17/01/2006 11:38

lol Squirrel

How was your driving lesson?

Squirrel3 · 17/01/2006 11:42

Ok thanks, I'm getting there, its just there are so many idiots on the road that cut you up and pull out infront of you when its your right of way. It drives me mad!!!

Its also really embarrasing when the idiot is your dp.

OP posts:
NotActuallyAMum · 17/01/2006 11:59

Oh no - he's done it again hasn't he??!!

Is Lea any better?

Squirrel3 · 17/01/2006 12:11

How did you guess? He says he is getting me used to general driving because people do it all of the time so he is doing me a favour really!!!

Lea is feeling a bit better today; I came back from the chemist with an arm full of medicines for her after talking to the pharmacist yesterday. Cost a small fortune but at least she is a little brighter.

Going to try a mock exam for the theory now, will let you know how I get on.

OP posts:
NotActuallyAMum · 17/01/2006 12:35

Glad she's getting better. It's awful when such young children are ill because they can't tell you how they feel or where it hurts!

Your DP is right about other drivers - there are some right d*ck heads on the road!!

Hope you passed your mock exam

Squirrel3 · 17/01/2006 12:45

Yes, I passed, I seem to get 91% nearly everytime I do it. I got this question wrong

Q. When you are driving an automatic when would you use kick back?

What the is kick back?

OP posts:
Squirrel3 · 17/01/2006 12:46

Going to have another try.

OP posts:
NotActuallyAMum · 17/01/2006 12:52

I would have been clueless at that question too - I've never driven an automatic and nor have most of the people I know so daft question IMO!

Squirrel3 · 17/01/2006 13:06

Passed again! I've got Lea here now so can't do anymore practice exams. I should pass, unless they ask daft questions on the exam!

Lea is wriggling on my lap and fighting to get to the keyboard, def a MN addict in the making!

OP posts:
NotActuallyAMum · 17/01/2006 13:25

Bless her

How old is she now? Isn't is this month that she has to go back to hospital for a check-up?

Squirrel3 · 17/01/2006 14:12

Lea is just over 6months now. I'm not sure when she has to go back for her check up, I'll have to ask dd. She seems fine though (apart from the chesty cough and bunged up nose). She likes to 'feel' her feet and stand on her legs and her hips seem strong enough and are taking her weight so I'm hoping that she will get the all clear at the hospital.

She is a real cutie, she was tired and crying but she couldn't sleep because her nose is blocked but dp popped home, she looked up, saw him and started to smile at him, she kept on smiling at him until she fell asleep, then dp was able to go back to work.

LooptheLoop · 17/01/2006 14:45

Maybe Lea has ambitions on the theory driving test as well?? Hope she's feeling better soon.

91% sounds excellent. Much better to be consistently at that level than getting 100% one day and 50% the next. I drive an automatic - and have never heard of kick back. Mind you - they let me loose on the roads ages ago so probably didn't exist back then!

NotActuallyAMum · 17/01/2006 14:54

That 6 months has gone quick Squirrel

Agree with Loopy - better to be consistent, you have more chance of passing

Loopy how did your football match go on Saturday?

Squirrel3 · 17/01/2006 14:57

I'm sure Lea would find driving much easier than I do!

DD passed her test in an automatic (its easier for her because of her back etc) so she can only drive an automatic.

Hang on, Lea wants to post...

pi ;h m j, nmjhy b j klj kh, cvui8nm n h;

I'm sure that mean't "I want to drive too!! I'll show you how its done Nanny".

Natural touch typist there!

Football was great - suggested to DH to take eldest SS as had just been his birthday instead of me (DH had been given free tickets for Arsenal). DH happy, SS over the moon and thinks I'm great and I got to stay home and watch Inspector Morse. Now that's what I call a result!

Squirrel3 · 17/01/2006 15:24

lol, Well done Loopy
