That'll bring her out squirrel

I'm OK thank you, Dad phoned last night to say they'd arrived safely in Southampton. They're going on a trip to the New Forest today, bet it'll be bloody cold! But I think they expect that at this time of year

How are you?

Squirrel3 · 21/02/2006 12:40

I'm ok thank you,

ds drives down to Southampton every weekend to see his girl friend who is at Uni there.

I love the New Forest, Reflection lives near by (hope she is ok, I haven't heard from her ), when I was little I used to go camping there with my Nan and Grandad. One day I was taking the rubbish to the bins and a donkey decided to chase me, I ran and ran!!! I was so scared, I couldn't understand why it hated me, I didn't know what to do.....

Then somebody shouted at me to drop the rubbish, I did and the donkey stopped and tucked in to the cabbage leaves which were at the very top of the bag!!!!!

It wasn't after me at all, just my cabbage.

Tarantula is quite safe tho, he is a very old cat that def just dreams of catching spiders!

Squirrel3 · 21/02/2006 13:02

Maybe they have got this flu bug, hope they are ok.

What's happening with dss?

OP posts:
tarantula · 21/02/2006 13:20

hi thanks for asking. Dp rang him again yesterday and he seems ok and he's been working on the papier mache skull he was making round ours. thats really good cos quite often he doesnt bother finishing things when he brings them home. Dp hasnt talked to him about the cars or anything as yet and BM says hes been ok but still very possesive of his stuff (which he never really was before). Dp is gonna have a chat on saturday with him.
Apart from that dp's dentist bill was twice what I thought so ahve told him hes giving up drinking for the next month. Guess how that went down

Squirrel3 · 21/02/2006 13:21

As long as you can drink!!

OP posts:
Squirrel3 · 21/02/2006 13:22

I'm glad dss is ok, a very low key chat with him at the weekend about the cars is a good idea.

OP posts:
NotActuallyAMum · 21/02/2006 13:23

Glad he's OK, hope DPs chat goes well at the weekend

Can imagine how that went down with your DP We tried to give up drinking after new years eve with the intention of having a drink again this weekend for DPs birthday, think we lasted about a fortnight, if that

tarantula · 21/02/2006 13:24

I def move your bed if I were you Naam. Neck ache is so horrible and thats a very horrible bug you are coming down with there

tarantula · 21/02/2006 13:27

Well its his dentist bill so best if jsut he gives up I think

NotActuallyAMum · 21/02/2006 13:31

Quite agree it should be just him who gives it up

My neck's fine today, thankfully. You're right, I really should move the bed a few inches further away from the radiator. I predict that next Monday night I'm going to start feeling poorly, during Tuesday I'm going to go downhill fast and Wednesday - well I might just have to take the day off work cos I'll be sooooooooo ill....

Squirrel3 · 21/02/2006 13:32

That ok then, of course we know your teeth are fine

OP posts:
tarantula · 21/02/2006 13:33

It always a good idea to build up the illness slowly Naam. Gotta make sure that everyone see how poorly you are and how much you have struggled to keep going. Its the only way

NotActuallyAMum · 21/02/2006 13:36

Yes, that's my action plan

Crafty bugger me when I want to be

Squirrel3 · 22/02/2006 09:36

Its freezing cold, so what am I going to wear for the second interview?
