Never heard of Chappel Roan, but well done Jorginho in calling her out.

Was just coming on to discuss the Chapple Roan/Jorginho beef.

The little girl-his step daughter is Jude Law's daughter and god daughter of Damon Albarn.
So rather well connected.
Saw some Americans on twitter saying Jorginho was clout chasing 🙄

It's very funny-apparently the Mayor of Rio has joined the drama

Piknik · 22/03/2026 08:48

Massive day for Spurs today - feel quite sick about it to be honest. The Notts Forrest game is potentially a six pointer in ether direction and having been utterly resigned to relegation, we've been handed that chink of hope from our last two games, which is almost worse.

WHY DO WE DO THIS TO OURSELVES?

ps. Well done BHA for yesterday btw. Great result.

Tiswa · 22/03/2026 09:14

Shows how little Americans know about football then!

does look like she didn’t realise that not only did the girl have a famous stepfather but an even more famous father and therefore so connected

even if he is downplaying what the little girl did that reaction is so totally over the top

but I can definitely believe it

Half time on the derby, I’m running on five cans of Diet Coke, half a bag of magic stars and sheer nervous energy. I’ve already had one high heart rate notification from my watch and the next 45 minutes might just finish me off. Anyone who wanted Sunderland back in the league for derby games is mental 😂

I let DH and DS take the tickets today as neither have been to a derby game and I’m quite happy to do it undisturbed in a darkened room.

Howay the lads.

MrsMitford3 · 22/03/2026 13:34

When I got to the end of your first line and it was magic I thought you were going to say mushrooms!! 😂

JasonTindallsTan · 22/03/2026 13:37

Hallucinogenics might have helped more tbh.

JasonTindallsTan · 22/03/2026 13:49

Fuck football and everyone who plays it

DuncinToffee · 22/03/2026 14:01

Sorry Jason it sucks losing a derby.

I like how you're all coming round to my way of thinking. 😉

Derby day defeats definitely hit harder.

Why is there no sound on ITV's coverage of the cup final?

burblish · 22/03/2026 16:03

Am I the only one who isn't really enjoying football this season? Obviously I'm not thrilled with how Liverpool's season has been, but it isn't just that. I'm not enjoying most neutral games as much as I usually do, either. Maybe it's the way most teams are setting up this season: the style of football isn't attractive to watch. I don't know what it is. The state of the world has taken away the excitement I'd normally feel for the World Cup, too. Domestically, I do like that things are very unpredictable in that it genuinely feels like any team could get a result against any other team. But the joy is missing for me somehow. Maybe it's just me, though!

Sorry-watching on Sky. Hope it is sorted for you?

TheNewGaard · 22/03/2026 16:33

Got the sound back. Who's commentating on Sky? We seem to have Gary Neville on ITV...

Gary Neville on Sky to

TheNewGaard · 22/03/2026 17:04

Ah, no point in changing channel then.

I assumed this was a comment on the state of those two clubs’ fans tbh. It hadn’t occurred to me that your tv might have a glitch.

DuncinToffee · 22/03/2026 17:28

It's not been a great first half, zzzzz

@burblish I am not watching a lot of games from other teams but I am quite enjoying the season.

I am with you on the World Cup, can't get excited about it.

OP posts:
Tiswa · 22/03/2026 18:01

For me the World Cup is a mix of too many matches so that the group stages aren’t really that excited (France/Norway perhaps aside) the location so the timings of the match plus well Donald Trump) and a complete lack of faith in England and Thomas Tuchel

No not enjoying it either off to Los Angeles this time next week (which yes given what I said above is slightly hypocritical) to watch basketball matches and at the moment it is in our household for the first time ever the favourite sports (the Basketball Spurs are on top form unlike the football version)

Itstheyearitstarts · 22/03/2026 18:05

FFS. I really dislike City and really wanted us to get one over on them as EH will be an insufferable prick at full time.

burblish · 22/03/2026 18:07

I suspect Kepa will be made a convenient scapegoat if the scoreline stays as it is. He ought to have done better with the first goal, for sure, but Man City have been all over Arsenal in the second half. Still, plenty of time left in this match for more to happen, especially as tempers start to fray! (PS: Rayan Cherki, stop with the mid-match keepy-uppies - makes you look a right dick.)

I can't believe Arteta didn't make changes before the first goal. He usually does, but he must have frozen today.

I know, he hasn’t made the right decisions.

And Kepa also kept freezing. He didn't know what to do.

DuncinToffee · 22/03/2026 18:19

It has been all Ciry this second half, Arteta had no answer this time.

I guess it's time for "football is shit".

To be honest though, it's Arsenal that have been shit.
