F*cks sake! We were well below par today. Constantly giving the ball away.

We need to be better.

Yup, bad enough to lose but to lose to that shower of shite…..

Fandango52 · 25/01/2026 19:41

Thanks for the new thread, @DuncinToffee !

New manager bounce and self belief.

it was I think a game that swung more on that Man Its had self belief and Arsenal faltered a little

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 25/01/2026 21:05

Wooo our goals conceded record is safe for another season. Did seem silly talking about Arsenal beating it about 5 games in and dont think any Arsenal fans were convinced. The media get a hype and run away with it and dont think..

I’m quite impressed with the new MU manager so far.

Brefugee · 25/01/2026 21:17

My teams are Borussia Mönchengladbach (Gladbach) who indeed proved the point by driving it home with a massive hammer that football is indeed shit. I have, for my sins, a season ticket.

They were so bad today that we did something neither of us has ever done before: when the 3rd opposing goal went in at minute 74 - we left. I have been going to matches on and off since i was 7 or 8. I am now early 60s. But it really was utter shit.

My other team is Sheffield Wednesday (nil). And am devastated that Saint Barry of Bannon is going to leave in this transfer window. Luckily for me i get to see them on average once every 20 years (although last season i managed 3 stadium visits)

Sure - sorry!

I’m Fandango and I support Tottenham.

I’m fairly new to football, as I’ve been supporting them since around 2022, mainly thanks to them being my long-suffering Dad’s team and because I love Harry Kane - but am aware he’s of course at Bayern now!

I hoped Thomas Frank would turn Tottenham’s fortunes around since he took over last year, but haven’t been hugely impressed so far. I realise that rebuilding a football team takes time though, and I am impressed with what he’s done at Brentford.

Are you the one with a DS who loves NFL?

My football mad (adult) DS has gotten into the NFL over the last 8 or 9 years. Have family in Pittsburgh so is a Steelers fan and regularly takes off work on a Monday to stay up for Sunday Night football.

Usually goes to a big Super Bowl thing in London but isn't this year as getting shockingly expensive but he does love it.

We are a pretty sports mad household. It's exhausting 😂

Ohh! Just spotted this thread.

Huddersfield here with a soft spot for Leeds (very rare I know 😂)

Welcome! Its always refreshing to have non-Premier League fans join the thread (although your liking for Leeds is noted!).

Thanks!

As much as I miss the brief time we were in the Premier League semi recently, I do especially enjoy Championship and League 1 football. Though I hope we don't get stuck in League 1 forever.

It is mainly my 10 year old who supports Leeds. He has spent some time in hospital in Leeds and met some of the players when he was there. First time at Elland Road was when Leeds beat Crystal Palace 4-1 just before Christmas.

Definitely more of a regular at The Accu!
