Well this tie is over

Newcastle United will finish me off. We’re still in this tie but by god we could have taken a lead to the Nou Camp if not for a last second (in the 95th minute of 90+4) brain fart by Malick Thiaw. Thought we were the better team overall and Lewish Hall had Lamine Yamal (who should have had a yellow ruling him out the next game) in his pocket all night. I love and despair of this club in equal measure.

I did feel gutted for the Spurs keeper.

Hasn't played much at all, second choice keeper and was put out against Atletico in CL.
He isn't the only one to have slipped and spurs were lucky not to have a man sent off.

It was calamitous and I place the blame squarely on Tudor.

(I may have a soft spot for goalkeepers as my DS played in goal as a kid-10 great saves and one mistake and it's a disaster. Striker-10 misses and one goal and a hero. Not a position for the faint hearted)

Just too awful to watch. So spursy. Disrespectful to the fans, the whole lot of them, the Board, player, all of it. Years of under-investment and this is what you get. Relegation.

Spursy is being three nil up at half time and losing 5 nil, it’s managing to get to a Champions League final and conceding a penalty, it’s missing out on a champions league space because it is the one time a limit of 4 teams is set and Chelsea win the cup and manage to lose 3rd on the final day

this wasn’t that - this was something else. Normally I hate Liverpool Spurs matches due to being torn between father and husband/son but I hope to god Liverpool annihilate them at Anfield so we can get rid of Igor Tudor - his treatment of Kinskey was too much

As a wolves fan I love Robbie Keane @Tiswa I also love that when he went to spurs he got booked for over celebrating a goal against West Brom 😂 (he also never did his back flip goal celebration when he scored against us). Gotta love that!

Agree @Tiswa- that wasn’t Spursy, that was a shit- show of the board’s making.

Tudor was selfish to play Kinsky. Kinsky wasn’t up to the job and it is Tudor’s job to know that. He doesn’t care though - his treatment of players coming off the pitch evidenced that. He’s just there to take the money.

But who put him there? The board. He is shit but he should never have been given the job. When you look back at the calibre of managers we’ve had over the years, it’s almost unbelievable that anyone thought he was a good idea.

I feel sorry for Kinsky and hope that wasn’t career ending. I don’t know where we go now but a manager with a history of premier league football and an affinity for Tottenham would be a start. Tudor has to go.

I have a soft spot for goalkeepers too. My son can't play any more but he used to play in goal too and the pressure, even at grassroots level can be unbelievable at times.

I loved Neil Warnock's comments during the time he briefly returned to Huddersfield a few years ago when discussing our goalkeeper, he talked about how goalkeepers have to be crazy because they are goalkeepers and who wants to do that? 😅

I'm another who loves a goalie. I They are part of a team right until they're on their own. And i love a shouty goalie when something goes wrong (still missing the adorable Yann Sommer at Gladbach).

My controversial opinion on goalies? They should always be in among the penalty takers.

My boy is a goalie, they’re all a little bit mental. I really hope the Spurs keeper has good people around him.

Lorius Karius has never really recovered from the Champions League debacle either

He had the perfect opportunity for a redemption arc in the 2023 Carabao Cup final for us though. Nick Pope losing his mind against Liverpool, Dubravka cup tied after spending 6 months on loan to our opponents. Enter Lorus Karius. Unfortunately we lost 2-0. But the opportunity was there!

I felt so bad for Karius during that match, we were watching it in a pub in Leipzig and he was taking so much flack.

Mind you, he now plays for a team well known for being arrogant eejits so it's a good match ;)

Well that could have been worse. We spent far too much time Arsenaling it around in a horseshoe and not bothering to play a cross or take a shot.

And I'm not entirely convinced by the referee. He just seemed to be randomly handing out yellow cards to people for no particular reason at the end...
