DH has a soft spot for Sunderland. Think it was from when he was based at Boulmer. He just shouted “fuck off” when I showed him that result. 😁

And least said about today’s Old Firm the better. Absolutely appalling behaviour from some of the so called fans both before and after.

There have been some screenshots going around social media from the fight on the pitch at Gayfield yesterday. The highlights are up on YouTube on the Arbroath FC channel. If anyone does decide to watch it you can see DH hitting the fence in frustration when we get close to a goal around 95 minutes LOL.

Yesterday was a fantastic result in what has been a horror of a season. Brady has worked wonders but I fear it is too late.

We've got one hell of a backlog of games with all the frozen/flooded cup rearranged fixtures! It's a bit annoying because my husband works away from home in the week so we can't usually attend midweek fixtures.

I was sat next to a Sunderland fan who couldn’t get away tickets. He came with a Vale fan friend & wasn’t very happy with his team.

Yeah, I'm in a football chat group on Telegram and they were trying to work out when the fixtures would be played.

We couldn't beat Sunderland.

I read about Port Vale on an Everton forum thread that keeps an eye out on loanees, Campbell and Sheriff are at yours.

Any team you fancy in the draw tonight?

The re-arranged New Year fixture against Barnsley is going to be 14th April (reminds me I need to get my refund as we can't make it - we had just set off when we found it was called off).

Obviously tomorrows game is now Wednesday. Ironically my husband works in Leeds so will be nearer Bradford than Vale on Wednesday. We've got the rearranged Doncaster away game on a Tuesday at the end of this month. And if the cup match is 4th April then we will have Cardiff away and Rotherham at home to rearrange.

Very impressed by what I've seen of Sherriff so far.

Team to fancy in the draw, not sure. I'd love it to be at home again as I don't have enough points to get away tickets. Last time Vale drew Man City in a cup match (2020) my then 15 year old son was a City fan and we had taken him to some matches so had enough of a purchase history to sit with the home fans with him (Vale's away allocation sold out).

I think you'll get at least a draw against us (Huddersfield) on Saturday. I actually feel like we have now gone backwards minus the first few games since Liam Manning came in for Lee Grant.

I wouldn't be surprised if you won either. We used to be the top goal scorers in league 1 and now the goals seem to be drying up, along with our issue with not winning away from home.

You'll probably beat us too @Comefromaway - our away record is disgusting. There's a good chance we might rotate too because there's a midweek fixture next week, and we definitely have an A team and a B team.

I'd have preferred Port Vale, obviously, but Southampton will do...

We’ve got games in hand but the other teams at the bottom are also picking up points so I can’t see us escaping relegation. But at least our improvement in form has given some hope to the fans.

Apparently my teams are going to try to cause me serious stress right now. Two cup games went to penalties but at least today was a good result in the end. Leeds next then!
