This is brilliant-spot the cameos.

DuncinToffee · 06/03/2026 08:31

Sorry but can we stay away from baiting Spurs supporters on this thread.

It's horrible to be in the relegation zone, it's not something you want to experience.

Thanks.

It's going to be quite the relegation scrap. And that’s even with Wolves saving the skin of one poor team by being so woeful before Christmas.

We still have to play Burnley and Spurs. That miraculous 19th spot might actually be ours! 🙌

DuncinToffee · 06/03/2026 09:16

I think Wolves can cause quite a bit of upset

Agree. There but for the grace of god and all that.

We (Arsenal) were a bad place a few years ago and could easily have gone down.

It can happen to anyone.

Brefugee · 06/03/2026 11:19

My team (the English one) is already relegated... 😂

DuncinToffee · 06/03/2026 11:27

There wasn't anything the fans could have done to keep them up. Any news on the new owner front?

League 1 could potentially be crazy next season with Sheffield Wednesday and maybe even the likes of Leicester, West Brom or even Blackburn.

I fully expect that Huddersfield will still be there. 🙄😂

I had so hoped we were all wrong about Tudor - I'd never even heard of him and so just assumed that the board knew something i didn't. But no.

The buck doesn't stop with him though, he's just another bit of nonsense in a shit show of Spurs own making. I honestly think we're going down.

It's the curse of building a new stadium.

The directors take their eye off the ball (literally).

They always say that the time to sell the shares you own in a company is just after they have built a flashy new headquarters.

nah, nothing yet. The consortium pulled out and I'm quite ok with that because i wasn't keen on all of them.

But i am worried now that a new owner, should one turn up, not want to pay all the money that would stop us starting on -15 points next season.
Ho hum. As long as there is still a club i'm ok with it, even if we end up in a league with Sheffield FC and Hallam FC. I am hoping it isn't the end of the daft Owls.

Brefugee · 06/03/2026 21:42

and as expected Gladbach have gone down badly to Bayern. Only bright spot is that one of our academy lads who is now in the full team scored his first professional goal.

Back at Gayfield for the first time in forever. Playing Ross County today. No pie photo today, I’ve not been eating much recently so I wasn’t hungry. Might go past the fish shop after the match for some to take home though. LOL

You have blue skies and sunshine, jealous Smile

Don’t let the blue sky fool you, there’s a chilly breeze and we have our big coats on still LOL. I’ve been absolutely roasting walking through town though but you need it sitting at Gayfield LOL.

Kirbert2 · 07/03/2026 16:53

Well, we won 1-0 but it wasn't at all convincing.

I was hoping Lincoln would beat Cardiff and they did, love an underdog story and it will be nice to see Lincoln in the Championship next season. We have them in a few weeks and I fully expect them to batter Huddersfield.

Oh we had so much fun cheering for those. The first one was a straight red for a tackle. Second one was after a huge fight. I kinda want to watch the highlights later to see if that’s shown. From what I saw one of RC’s guys went down, used his legs like a pincer to bring our guy down. Then the (bloody awful for most of the match) ref didn’t seem to be doing anything until our guy threw that guy back down to the ground and a huge fight broke out. They had the pincer guy sent off, we had 2 or 3 yellows from it, tbh I’m surprised we didn’t have anyone sent off from it.

The whole game was a bit of a shambles. Every single Ross County throw in, corner or goal kick seemed to take them forever to take, sometimes with the guy taking a throw in being the furthest away just ambling over. Their substitutions were the same.

We were awful too though. Normally amazing players were giving the ball away, or we were moving forward well then randomly passing back to the goalie.

Because I sit behind the away dugout there were obviously many choice words shouted that way. Just after the fight one of the management team started arguing back with some of the fans around me and tbh I’m surprised people didn’t get removed for it. 🙈🙈🙈

Basically it was a bit of a shambles especially since we couldn’t score against 9 men. 🙈 But at least we didn’t lose!

DuncinToffee · 07/03/2026 20:42

I enjoyed Wrexham v Chelsea, shame about the offside,

Scoobydoobydoo19 · 07/03/2026 23:58

Football is good today, even if the referees are shit. 😊
I have a soft spot for Lincoln for obvious reasons, so now we probably won't catch them, I'd like to see them win the league.

COYS4 · 08/03/2026 12:01

Spurs are in dire straits but on the bright side Colorado Rapids had a fantastic win 4-1 against LA galaxy last night 👏

The (ex Spurs asst)head coach is doing a great job there.

burblish · 08/03/2026 15:37

Bravo, Port Vale!

Bravo, Port Vale!

They certainly didn't play like a team bottom of league 1. Pleased for them and their fans, very special day for them.

DuncinToffee · 08/03/2026 15:59

Well done Port Vale

OP posts:
Scoobydoobydoo19 · 08/03/2026 16:06

Hope it's tired them out for their game on Wednesday 😁

But seriously, fair play 😊
