I'm so pleased for Scotland! An excellent night's work by Wales, too. With wins for England, Northern Ireland and that amazing result for the Republic of Ireland, too, this round of World Cup qualifying matches was outstanding for all the countries in this bit of the sea!

The England games rather missed the excitement

Just found out Kenny McLean that scored our fourth goal also played 23 games (and scored one goal) for Arbroath. 😁

I will say Andy Robertson at the end talking about Jota and their chats and dreams together about the World Cup definitely brought a tear to my eye.

Robbo talking about how he had been thinking of Jota all day (and implying he had been crying in his hotel room) really moved me, too. A lovely and moving reminder of how much his loss continues to affect his friends and former teammates.

WALES v BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
CZECH REPUBLIC v REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
ITALY v NORTHERN IRELAND

Will be cheering for them and Romania too since our dog is Romanian and I actually had a good chat in very broken Romanian (in other words mostly English and a random word I would yell now and again when I remembered it 🤣) with some lads in the pub when we were there for Scotland v Greece. 🙈

It would be great for all 5 to make it. It's a big ask but fingers crossed they can do it 🤞🏻

They literally can’t though wales and Northern Ireland are in the same path so only one can go through (and even that involves beating Italy)
