Looking forward to hearing how you find it. Still miss the old stadiums (and the names Highbury/Maine Road/Filbert Street) so interested to see how it is. Stopped going to Spurs way before the move and haven’t been to the new 🏟️

I am not there, not a season ticket holder as we live too far away

took DD1 (she was 17 or 18) to watch Gladbach because DH was sick and didn't want to waste the ticket. She said "I'll come if it's in a seat"
On the affermative, we went, train and bus full of fans, she ... didn't really enjoy that. When some lads were getting too close on the bus she did best schoolteacher "stop that" and... they did. She's not a teacher.

Anyway, against all the Gladbach odds, there was a 20 minute stretch towards the end of the match, 0-0 at that point, when gladbach scored 5 goals and after the 3rd everyone was on their feet. And boy did she moan about that.

Was also concerned that our goalie - the lovely Yann Sommer at that time - spent too much time at the half-way line and was worried about that. But did appreciate the Hertha players "helping that one up, so kind" when they needed to score 6 to win with 10 minutes to go.

off to Gladbach vs Hamburg SV in a few minutes. Their (Hamburg) first Bundesliga match in 8 seasons. Expecting to lose.

Been keeping track of fan sentiment and it seems as if there isn’t a bad view at the new stadium. Some transport issues though?

I was working near there a few months ago so went to check it out from the other side of the dock. Looks impressive.

I miss the old Highbury, but at the back lower of the West Stand, if something was happening and everyone stood up, you couldn't see most of the pitch.

At the Emirates, the views are superb from everywhere.

Honestly no idea who I would want as manager at West Ham. Anyone just with a passion to build the team up properly would be ideal but I think many of the current problems are coming from higher up now anyway.

Not a good weekend for my teams. 3-0 loss away to St Johnstone yesterday for Arbroath and considering a stiff drink now it’s halftime for St Mirren v Rangers since St Mirren are currently 1-0 up. 🙈

It is tricky isn’t it - when we did the Euros last year we visited Signal Iduna Park (Dortmund) and I hated it - all concrete (not helped by the lightening debacle) but thought it was an awful stadium but could see how the yellow wall could create atmosphere. Much prefer the newer stadium at Gelsenkirchen the Veltins Arena and the view was amazing it was light bright and airy but it did miss something

Agree that Eze's post to the CP fans was total class. Listening to the Everton match, the siren, Z Cars and roar of the crowd made me shiver. My grandad was a big fan of Z Cars, it's a nostalgic tune for me even though I'm not an Everton fan. A friend of mine who died a couple of years ago was, it's sad he's missed seeing the new stadium.
