We are over halfway through the season. It looks like the WDC will either be Lando or Oscar. Hoping for a grandstand finish in Abu Dhabi.

A 3 way fight at Abu Dhabi? That would be quite cool (I have tickets!) 😁

Mercedes need to give George the contract he wants. Man is a machine.

George did his time with Williams so they could be fair to Valtteri.
The 2022-2025 Merc has not been a good car but George has been very reliable in getting points by trying different strategies etc.

Only wanting to give him a 1 year contract in case Max wanted to sign in 2027 is a shitty thing to do.

If George were in a better car he would be a real contender. He deserves the contract he wants.

Charles and Carlos fly to and from races together because they are both sponsored by VistaJet. After Baku their flight was diverted from Nice to Italy and they ended up hiring a van to drive to Monaco😂.

It is very funny. My sensible (neurotic) head is telling me that Carlos shouldn't be driving as surely he's drunk too much champagne though.

I'd imagine that with all the media etc responsibilities very little champagne is actually drunk and by the time the van was hired, hours later any would be out of his system.

It is such a sweet thing Carlos and Williams have done. It actually adds a further dimension to the win.

I was just driving and listening to the radio. Carlos Sainz has just come on and is being interviewed by Greg James. Wasn't expecting that. I'm meant to be out of the car by now but staying there until the interview is over.

They're now playing smooth operator and got Carlos to introduce it 😂

I really feel for Lewis. Ever since Abu Dhabi things seem to have been going against him. He’s clearly done a lot of work on his mental health and how to handle such a stressful career with so much attention on him and I think he comes across incredibly well even when often under intense provocation. But the poor man is only human and can only take so much.

I agree. Lewis thinks the world of Roscoe and I know only too well how awful it is when a dog is seriously ill.

Poor Lewis, this is so hard for him. I do believe it would be best for Roscoe if they let him slip away. He's lived a long and happy life and has been unwell for a while

For a bulldog Roscoe has had a very good innings. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is the best.
Feel for Lewis though.
