Did Carragher really say Plymouth shouldn't have celebrated beating Liverpool?

MaybeNotBob · 11/02/2025 11:46

I don't think he did, someone was just making the point that he said that about Arsenal celebrating, but wouldn't have dared say it about, say, Plymouth.

Double standards and all that...

JasonTindallsTan · 11/02/2025 13:14

I mean… it’s kinda different…

MaybeNotBob · 11/02/2025 19:44

The fact that you can't see the similarities shows us something...

DuncinToffee · 11/02/2025 19:54

It's not all about Arsenal. Confused

Seagull celebration

MaybeNotBob · 11/02/2025 20:32

Well, it is about time that someone from a different club was arrested by the Celebration Police...

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 11/02/2025 21:05

Havertz has suffered a hamstring.

Let's hope Sterling can step up.

To be fair, though, the same could be said about the fact that you can't see the differences 🤷🏾‍♀️

Oh whoopee!...

Oh whoopee!...

Don't worry, we've got Max Dowman. It doesn't matter that he is only 15.

Sam Dean in the Telegraph was saying a few weeks ago that Havertz rarely get injured. I thought at the time that it was the kiss of death.

DuncinToffee · 11/02/2025 21:26

Welcome to the 2 goalies on the subs bench teams....

What do you mean?

DuncinToffee · 11/02/2025 21:39

Not having enough senior players available, so putting 2 goalies on the bench alongside a few youngsters. We have been doing it for ages.

At least Arsenal don't have to worry about PSR

Sorry, I am getting a bit fed up with the moaning about Arsenal's woos Smile

Ah ok.

As you said previously, there seems to be a serious injury in most matches recently.

I don't remember so many injuries in previous years.

I was speaking to a Spurs fan today. I knew that they had had a lot of injuries, but I didn't realise the extent until today.

DuncinToffee · 11/02/2025 21:45

It really feels like that with injuries, doesn't it

OP posts:
JasonTindallsTan · 11/02/2025 22:00

Aye we had two keepers and a bunch of teenagers who hadn’t made their first team debut on the bench against PSG away last season, it’s shit but the way the cookie crumbles sometimes and deffo not exclusive to just one team.

DuncinToffee · 11/02/2025 22:08

Forest's Awoniyi just got stretchered off, hope he is ok.

2 MC players were injured tonight and a Notts Forest player was stretchered off.

There have been a lot of stretchering off recently.

I wonder if the referees are allowing players to be too physical.

TheSleepingGiant · 11/02/2025 22:11

FA Cup extra time for L1 Exeter. Hopefully they can hold on with their 10 men and take it to pens.

Gills come away from league leaders Walsall with a 1-1 draw. Another point closer to safety so I'm very happy with that. It's all about staying up this season now.

DuncinToffee · 11/02/2025 22:17

My bluesky is full of Everttonians, not much Arsenal talk Grin

MaybeNotBob · 11/02/2025 22:19

Well, we're all Evertonians tomorrow!

Tarkan · 11/02/2025 22:25

Jay Bird who came on for Exeter played for Arbroath before. He was well loved here. Grin

As a little aside. Was the closest to Gayfield I've been for a while. Went for the scenic route home from blood tests at the hospital today.

Adding a pic but I know it might not show straight away with new MN settings. You even get a little hint of the utter chaos with roadworks in town right now too LOL.
