Salah stays, Van Dijk stays, Liverpool are going to win the Premier League. That's a treble I'm very happy with! 😁

Brefugee · 17/04/2025 12:52

what on EARTH was that Palace penalty? The German comentators completely fell apart laughing and then spent 2 minutes saying what a stupid, pointless, pathetic waste of time it is doing those "stuttering run" penalties. As they said "put your foot through the ball!"

Oblomov25 · 17/04/2025 20:42

Ds2 as a referee says that is a spurs penalty.

Oblomov25 · 17/04/2025 20:45

What an incredible comeback by Man Utd. That has to be one of the most exciting matches I’ve ever seen.

I'm not a Man U fan but eldest is and that was one of the most tense rollercoaster of a match in recent times. The tv definitely got yelled at tonight (and the air might have turned slightly blue 🤣)

Tarkan · 17/04/2025 23:24

I’ve been at the theatre all night and got to the local after to see the extra time. That was crazy!

Hellohah · 18/04/2025 00:30

I don't have words to articulate the rollercoaster I've been on tonight at Old Trafford ... But this is the reason I love football. I get to make these memories with DS, we may be shite, but don't doubt being a United fan makes us incredibly blessed! Much love to you all from Manchester xx

kiterunning · 18/04/2025 07:10

Sadly for me I support a very average Championship team but I absolutely love these wonderful moments with other teams.
There is nothing like football for the contrasting emotions of despair and joy!

You are so lucky to have been there last night!

Oh I am with you @Hellohah I have no voice left and my body aches from the limbs at the end.

What a night, all the emotions. Delight, to despair, to disbelief then joy! I did have to check the score when I got up this morning to check it wasnt a dream!

It was bloody wonderful wasn't it?
It really happened, if you have TikTok or anything, get on and watch.
It's been a damn long season, but moments like those make it all worth while. And we don't half do those moments well 😂

Who is your team Kite? I enjoy lower league footie, no VAR to spoil it Easter Smile

@TheSleepingGiant
Oxford Utd
Just hope we can hang on to our Championship status!
I love the Championship and would be happy with a nice secure mid-table position!

DuncinToffee · 19/04/2025 18:16

Ah crap, especially Tarky going off injured.

Dreadful day at the office for Tinners and team today. Playing an unchanged team for 7 games in a row was always going to bite us in the ass at some point but it highlights once again that strength in depth is our main weakness.

DuncinToffee · 19/04/2025 22:01

Yep, lack of strength and depth, I know the feeling.

Normal service (for this season) resumed at Old Trafford. Though relegation cannot happen after Ipswich lost to Arsenal.

MaybeNotBob · 20/04/2025 16:52

You're welcome!

It also means Sp*rs can't go down, which is a shame...

MaybeNotBob · 20/04/2025 16:58

Also for Everton. Apparently.

DuncinToffee · 20/04/2025 16:58

Mathematically safe for us as well 💙 Really thought at the beginning of the season that it was going to be another relegation fight.

Thanks Moyes!
Big summer ahead.

FPL, I made Saka my triple captain, 3 points so far, whoop whoop

One more. Let's do it at Anfield, my beautiful boys! ♥️

user1471453601 · 20/04/2025 21:22

I don't think, as a LFC supporter, that I can take one more match like this. Our front line all seen to have the yips. This season is killing me , or it would if I hadn't stopped watching our games live since November. I just watch the ones on LFCTV.

It's a funny old game, isn't it? Top or bottom, fighting for the title, against relegation, the fear we fans face. Goodness knows how the players cope.
