Antonio is honestly one of my favourite players. I've been working at the theatre (making 12 costumes today before our opening night) and honestly my blood ran cold when I saw the first message then the pictures online. I'm glad he seems to be doing well but from the other things I've heard I don't know if we will see him on the pitch again. I do hope so but his recovery is the more important thing.

I also couldn't get to Gayfield tonight because of panto, but the match was on BBC Alba so I half paid attention to that while fighting with an arsehole of a sewing machine. And we only went and bloody won! We've played Queen of the South two weekends in a row. Last week they knocked us out of the Scottish Cup with a 1-0 win. Today we won 2-1. My husband and friend were there and the idiots left before the end. We scored the winner at 90+1 (which they both missed!) but I know there was at least another 6 minutes after that so they missed the most exciting part apparently. But also can't blame them, it's been cold, windy and rainy today and when our stadium is basically across a narrow road from the North Sea, it's not the nicest at times.

Thought that was a Chelsea red card.

I hope Ange will be given more time, although it does feel like it could be the end. I will admit it is getting harder to fight his corner when he fails to change formation/tactics to calm games down and protect the lead. He will take the fall from today, the decision to rush Romero and VDV back has backfired, but there's not much he can do when players give away stupid penalties.

Better result for the Gills, who beat Salford 1-0 yesterday.

had a not bad footballing weekend. Sheffield Wednesday 1-1. Boro 1-1 (DH happy about that) and Gladbach 1-1 against (boo hiss) Dortmund. Even the Dortmund fans were questioning the Ref's "impartiality" since general consensus is we should have had at least 3, if not 4 penalties but only got one (weakest claim of them all but I'll take the point)
