Is anyone enjoying the start of the new season?

I'll join, I'm a Huddersfield fan. Not the best start to the year for us but it's been a tough run of matches.

Didn't see the game, but who's doing the kicking for Wire? Still Ratchford? He's a very decent kicker usually, tbf. But bloody hell, he's 35!

Ratchford is an amazing kicker but doesn’t quite have the pace anymore. There doesn’t seem to be a named kicker now.

Just watched the Warriors v Sharks. Warriors didn't give them a sniff for half an hour, then rather imploded, and the Sharks were able to force a narrow lead and hang on to it.

I am impressed with the Saints Reds game already.

I'm less impressed with the Leeds game (as a rhinos fan anyway) I don't understand how we defended so well against Catalan last week and we are so poor tonight!

Eagerly watching/learning with my DP beside me. It will be great to be part of this thread

Fairly new to RL, partner and his family a long history with Salford.

For those watching the other games, is it as one sided as the score line?

@Sweden99 for most of the first half Leeds were the better team despite the score, Leigh got lots of quick plays and some poor defending allowed them to score.

Yeah, you can't do that. A red card every day of the week for me. Exciting game though. Why is it that in rugby league, more than any other sport it seems, the result goes right down to the wire in the last few seconds?

@RadioGaGaRadioGooGoo as a fellow Rhinos fan, I have to disagree that Leeds were the better team in the first half despite the score.
Leeds were awful, 2 errors from Momirovski = 2 trys, awful kicking game, no shape in defence leading to awful gaps, no territory, allowing Leigh to just run through them every time.
2nd half was like a different team came out & Leigh just let it slip away.
But 3 wins from 4, i’ll take that.

DP is pleased with the BBC coverage this morning. He is a huge supporter of RL as a game which is underrated in the UK.

There's certainly more of it on the telly these days, one way or another. Which can only be a good thing. The game is so ridiculously under-sold. Hoping to see a few Wigan youngsters get a run out this afternoon against London.
