8 minutes! WTF?

When do they announce how much stoppage time there is in a game?

(I don't normally watch football - obviously!! - but in other sports, the final minutes are so exciting as you know exactly when it's going to end and are counting down until the celebrations. In football it seems very odd to not know for sure how much time is left)

(sorry, I'd posted that on the old thread, not realising there was a new one!)

ok and now my question is answered I guess - they wait until the 90 min is over and then announce it? So anti-climactic!

My nerves were on edge the whole game. Phew.

England are obviously not the same team without Williamson, Kirby & Mead and in this tournament they haven’t looked or played like European Champions, but Wiegman & the players deserve enormous credit for their ability to just find a way to get the result. Sometimes in sport, that’s enough, and it was today. Well played, ladies. 👏👏👏

Phew - I am just so relieved we didn’t have to endure extra time and pens! With the number of key players from the Euros we are missing this time, getting to the semis is a massive achievement. Come on England!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
