I've been hungover all day Blush but sat and watched the whole parade this evening.

Will be interesting now to see which teams come forward with bids for Declan Rice. The two I've heard most recently have been Arsenal and Bayern Munich so we'll see who's properly interested now. Of course I would prefer him to stay but I totally understand him wanting to go explore other clubs now.

Good luck to Man City for this weekend, not a team I would normally cheer for but when it's a European competition then that's totally different to me. Smile

The problem with doing that is that you will start getting, for example, Bochum fans pretending to be Gladbach fans and throwing things so that Bochum get the points.

IME the Fans around the throwers usually hand them over to the security.

Champions League tonight and possibly the last Champions league game I watch. TNT Sports have hiked the price so now more than I pay for Sky. Not sure TNT Sports is worth £1500 a year.

TheTurn0fTheScrew · 10/06/2023 18:59

anyone else watching this evening? I'm a little excited as City are in such good form, but also a bit sick as we've been here before and caved.

AndNobbyDancing · 10/06/2023 19:15

That @TheTurn0fTheScrew is the benefit of supporting crap teams, I shall just enjoy, hopefully, a good game of football. Whilst I would prefer a city win, I have no emotion involved. Good luck.

DuncinToffee · 10/06/2023 19:19

I am not watching but will keep an eye on the live text, I am not that interested.

Good luck TheTurnOfTheScrew

thank you both! I wish I could say I'm hoping for a good, open game, but TBH given 2021 I will take a scrappy, ill-deserved 1-0 gladly.

Oblomov23 · 10/06/2023 20:01

Watching CL final.

EddieHoweisMYmanager · 10/06/2023 20:29

I’m watching too. Rio Ferdinand is a crap pundit. Absolute snore.

xabia · 10/06/2023 20:34

So tight- City being smothered.

xabia · 10/06/2023 20:35

Come on guys!

Agree, he is awful.

AndNobbyDancing · 10/06/2023 21:13

Sad for De Bruyne

xabia · 10/06/2023 21:30

Yessssssss!!

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 10/06/2023 21:57

Well done City.

However, "the greatest story in club football history" can fuck right off...

Oblomov23 · 10/06/2023 21:57

Tactical game, not that exciting. Well done City.

TheTurn0fTheScrew · 10/06/2023 21:59

THANK GOODNESS. And thank Ederson, obvs.

EddieHoweisMYmanager · 10/06/2023 22:06

Oh Jack’s emotion there was 😢

xabia · 10/06/2023 22:08

Replica shirts are really not a good look for your average porky middle aged man..

DuncinToffee · 10/06/2023 22:30

Well done Man City

Not a big fan of fat and age shaming, think the look of this on the poster is a worse look than those that simply want to support their club.

It was lovely to see JG so emotional and to be willing to give such an interview.

Well done City, they have achieved so much since the financial investment, but as other clubs Chelsea show they need more than money to be successful.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 11/06/2023 10:47

I know they have spent money and whatever else but still takes someone to mould a team together. They were points behind Arsenal till they did their Europa exit and the league slide that follows...to catch up,overtake and then win it and all. Then what has followed. He has moulded the side well!

Brefugee · 11/06/2023 11:28

I was at a gig so missed the match, which was shown on terrestrial tv here.

Well done to City, not a fan of people buying a club and shovelling loads of money in and it being sold as a fantastic football story (something like Wrexham would be, however). But anyway, I'm super happy for Gundogan (sp?) because i think he's a lovely chap and a great footballer.

German sports news reporting the Milan players stayed in the stadium until 2am in a fit of bad losership and barely any of them would speak to the press. That's just bad form. They were the underdogs and that's not how professionals behave.

Thanks. Smith Rowe is playing. Why don't they tell you which teams they play for?
