Feel so sorry for Spurs and Lucus Moura.

AndNobbyDancing · 30/04/2023 18:38

In fairness after the first 20, Spurs deserved the win.
I do think Moura actually cares about his performance/result unlike so many, so I also feel sorry for him. 99 seconds from equalising

Tarkan · 30/04/2023 18:38

That match was crazy! I was just saying to a Liverpool-supporting friend that they'd "done a West Ham" by messing up a 3-0 lead and then Jota made a fool of me.

WhiteHartLane · 30/04/2023 19:41

Tough one to take, 100% deserved a point, however they can't keep conceding endless 1st half goals at the rate they do. This has been happening all season and its so frustrating.
Officials very poor, not sure why the incident with Skipp stamping on Diaz' leg wasn't checked and then later Jota's high boot into the side of Skipps head? Baffling.

WhiteHartLane · 30/04/2023 19:43

And yes, felt bad for Moura, especially as it was his first game back after his ban Sad

I'm watching MOTD2 as DH didn't watch the match with me and seeing both those things over and over now, I'm with you. Why the heck were they not checked? There was very little VAR usage in the match despite some bad looking tackles all over. As a Hammer I'm really not the biggest fan of the overuse of VAR we always seem to get hit with but this is why it's there.

AndNobbyDancing · 01/05/2023 22:00

Sorry Dunc but Leicester deserved the win. Not sure a point each really helps either of them.

DuncinToffee · 02/05/2023 09:04

I was in a&e all evening (not for me) so missed the match but I am sure I would disagree Nobby Smile

Just wanted to vent my indignation-

Women's Champions League semi final last night-Emirates completely sold out and it wasn't on the bloody telly.
You could watch it on youtube.

There is def a lot of interest and support for the women's game but this is outrageous!!

Arsenal went out but fought a good fight considering they are missing 4 key players (weirdly lots of ACL injuries) I did see somewhere that they are looking in to the high rates of ACL injuries in women but a bit late for us!

aibutohavethisusername · 02/05/2023 14:09

i watched it on YouTube.

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 03/05/2023 07:58

Woohoo, we won a game at last!

It was a poor Chelsea team though. Good players, poor team. The new manager has got some work to do there.

And I guess I get to do it once more;

♫"Top of the league, we're havin' a laugh"♫...

EddieHoweisMYmanager · 03/05/2023 08:03

Enjoy this feeling while it lasts @YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue 😜

WhiteHartLane · 03/05/2023 11:45

Had to laugh at Aubameyang (sp) being subbed after just 9 touches 1st half.

Confirmed sacking of the Leeds coach and appointment of Allardyce.

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 03/05/2023 13:33

And 4 of those were kick-offs!

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 03/05/2023 15:11

Yes, and the BBC keep saying that Barca want him back. Why?

Someone has been arrested for the laser. Hope he goes to prison.

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 03/05/2023 20:46

To be honest, he was scoring for fun there!

Glad they've got that idiot. Lifetime ban I hope.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 03/05/2023 21:49

Haaland is bonkers..his record is mad.

aibutohavethisusername · 03/05/2023 21:58

He’s a machine

AndNobbyDancing · 03/05/2023 22:27

He is brilliant, I honestly love him. He just seems so normal, so lovely, I really enjoy his interviews. Seems like a decent person, respectful, love him.

EddieHoweisMYmanager · 03/05/2023 22:38

Also love Haaland. I’d be gutted if anything nefarious came out about him. He seems a real decent sort.

AndNobbyDancing · 03/05/2023 22:47

I hope not Eddie it was that moment captured on camera but unknown by the players that made me a fan. So many 'stars' throwing their kit on the floor and then Haaland passing his directly to the kit man. That boy has manners.

AndNobbyDancing · 03/05/2023 22:47

To be clear that is as far as my city love goes!

EddieHoweisMYmanager · 03/05/2023 22:55

Yes! After giving it a wee fold. He just seems like he’s been brought up right.

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 04/05/2023 10:57

So happy he is in the PL but not happy that it will be very difficult for other teams to win the league. But the PL is more important.
