I think they want stability, from their pov he's done nothing wrong. (a lot of them blame the players for being prima donnas). They've been through a lot of coaches recently, lost their Star player and the club management are all self-aggrandizing arses.

Also they paid 25 million for him, and he'll get around 8 million as a pay off. Crazy money even for them.

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 25/03/2023 11:21

@Brefugee

They sound very much like Chelsea where the players seem to rule the roost.

Who was their star player?

Do you think he will end up at Spurs?

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 25/03/2023 11:24

@DuncinToffee

Do you think Everton will be deducted points? It just seems to be going from bad to worse.

Brefugee · 25/03/2023 11:28

Levandovski (sp?) was their star player, a goal scoring machine (i will never forget that 5 goals-in-9-minutes match against Wolfsburg)

And the impression that we on the outside get is that some of the Bayern players (Levandovski was one, but Müller is another, Neuer - i have NO IDEA why they don't get rid of him - and a few other of their big names). there have been rumblings in the past about when they don't like a coach (because he insists on the training schedule etc) they can chase them off. Added to the Hoeness, Khan and Samidic triumvirate - with Rummenigger in the background with a few others - the job is like a poisened chalice.

Nagelsmann to Spurs is an interesting theory. There is no doubt in my mind he's a good coach, but he is emotional and a bit full of himself (after our recent game against them, we won, they had a red card and after the match he was right into the Ref's locker room to complain, and moaned at the press conference too. In a kind of "how dare you do that to Bayern" way)

Who knows. If the PL want to set an example, sure. Otherwise a fine and transfer ban seems more likely.

Not sure why it's all in the news now as the club was already working on it with the PL..

Sack the regime, back the team.

how come Everton might get a points loss and other clubs flouting FFP rules get nothing? weird

WhiteHartLane · 25/03/2023 18:46

Another 3 points for Gills against promotion chasing Carlisle today. Lovely injury time winner, takes us up to 16th. We have our team back 💙

Maddison is starting.

Good luck England!

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 26/03/2023 16:35

Saka going to get another 90+minutes. Grealish rested.

Admittedly, Grealish was shit against Italy...

Yes, really I hope he doesn't have to play the whole match.

Odegaard was really lucky yesterday after Rodri's nasty tackle yes.

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 26/03/2023 16:54

It is going to be very difficult not to cheer on Zinchenko.

DuncinToffee · 26/03/2023 16:59

Mykolenko and Pickford

Hopefully Zinchenko and Saka will be going out of their way not to injure each other...

Ha ha, yes.

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 26/03/2023 17:36

Mikolenko obviously doesn't feel the same though.

And what is 80's band Matt Bianco doing in their back 4?

DuncinToffee · 26/03/2023 17:43

Haha we were commenting on Matt Bianco as well.

Brilliant pass from Kane to Saka and brilliant cross by Saka to Kane and then a brilliant goal.

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 26/03/2023 17:44

Brilliant Saka goal.

DuncinToffee · 26/03/2023 17:44

Yes that was a nice one

Yes, he is just so likeable.

The post match commentary is awful.

Saka is dynamite - and I agree, so likeable to boot (despite playing for Arsenal😁).

Oblomov23 · 26/03/2023 21:46

Likewise. As a spurs fan I could watch saka all day long. Plus he's just so beautiful as a human, so humble.
