trying to book - tickets have got through to the requesting stage but time waiting varies between 7 mins then goes back to at least 15 ...I am wasting my energies are there any likelihoods of getting tickets????

I don't understand this site - it says tickets are available, but when you select, I get a 'Session ticket limit' of 0. So, not available then?

Yep that's the size of it Ephiny. It's my biggest bug bear with it. The search function should be clever enough to filter properly. I've lost count of the number of times I've wasted precious seconds clicking through to something that isn't really available after all.

Has anyone got tickets this morning? I haven't been looking and wonder if I have missed out

The athletics ones have disappeared completely now, I guess they just went quickly :(. Only basketball and volleyball left, which I'm not bothered about.

Never mind. I saw a bit of the triathlon in Hyde Park yesterday (I work just around the corner so wandered down for a look!) so at least I've had one tiny glimpse of the Olympics!

Nothing's come up for me Doblet, but I'm not searching for tomorrow so that's probably why. There definitely seems to be more choice if you can go the day after you buy.

I'm also limiting my search to the Park venues. I'm very lucky to have been at the badminton last Saturday (tickets I got on Thursday night) so I have been to the Olympics. I really want to go to the Park though, so I can't resist keep on trying. Silly really, got Paralympic tickets to the Park last Thursday too so not like I'm never going to see it. I fear I may be addicted to the stupid website

If I was lucky enough to get tickets where do I collect? Do I need to print at home as printer broken

I collected my badminton tickets from a box office outside the venue Littlemiss. It was a portacabin in the car park. Really straightforward. I did have a print out of the email confirmation, but showing them the email on your phone or giving them the reference number ought to be enough. You also need photo id.

Photo ID? Arrgh. I have no passport or driving licence!

FFS now it says session ticket limit 4, but when you scroll down further, 'tickets to this session are currently unavailable'

I could be wrong Fruity. I just handed over my driving licence and she did check me against the photo (we had a laugh about how different I looked) so I have assumed the 'photo' bit. I don't even remember reading that you needed it, but the people ahead of me handed theirs over so I just did the same. Was relieved I had some with me, would have been seriously cross to get all the way down there only to find they wouldn't hand the tickets over. It was in my bag as I'd been to a speed awareness course the day before Left it in my bag 'just in case'.

Thanks Angel I have just emailed them. I don't drive and my pasport is out of date. I am sure I am not the only one in this position.

I am still trying for tickets for tomorrow so cross fingers for me. Otherwise I am heading to Hyde park!

MrsVamos - that link I just put up talks about only the account holder being able to pick up the tickets. I presume it's talking about the account on the website rather than the card account? Is your dh registered on the site? If not, I would get him to register and then buy them in his name, with his card to be on the safe side. Then he can pick them up and you're sorted.

Oh shite, I forgot that bit too....to be honest, I don't think we will get tickets now, there's hardly anything coming up...tonights athletics but 'currently not available'.

They still can't shift those £1500 Closing Ceremony tickets, can they ?

The sailing ones are such a con. £55 to get a patch of grass that you can't even put a camping chair on! You probably need binoculars anyway...

If you get tickets you can choose the print at home option then they email them to you and you print them out. Nobody checks id then just the ticket.

I agree Angel ! I'm sure you could go and stand on a bit of beach and hear what's going on, anyway !

I managed to get tickets off the website in the last few days for my uncle, my dh and ds and my parents and nephews. I'm the only one who hasn't been . In all cases I was the account holder but they have had no problems getting in with the print at home tickets and no id. So make sure you choose the print at home option and it should be fine.

It's just rotten, isn't it.

To be fair, it's just personal circumstance that means I can't go because Ds2 has special needs and there isn't anyone who can look after him this week. But I did manage to get tickets for others so keep trying it does happen sometimes, you just need to be really quick off the mark when they appear.
