I'm trying to get rid of a 10 year old verucca. I can't tell if it's going well or not. Wtf is going on! It hurts! I have a hole in my foot!!

Wow that is a big one! My DS literally chewed one off his own foot when he was 2 🤢

That boy is a legend <doffs cap>

jevoudrais · 01/06/2022 21:57

Fucking hell @MsChatterbox that's beautiful. I like sporner corner but some stuff makes me so disappointed because the updates are non existent or shit. This was truly wonderful. The best I have ever seen. Thank you.

OMG THIS IS THE MOST DELIGHTFUL THREAD.

So often, sporner threads don't post the final result.

First the Johnny Depp verdict, now this. What a night. What a night.

🤣

What we really need is for you to hold up the monster one you so brilliantly ripped out next to a familiar sized object to give us an idea of scale. Like a Coke can. And then photograph it...

I think a better photo would be her husband holding it aloft, like a trophy hunter who has just bagged a particularly dangerous animal...

livelyliz · 01/06/2022 21:59

As a retired podiatrist I recommend you see a chiropodist/podiatrist/foot health professional before it gets infected. You need all the dead skin removing so they can see what is going on. I would just keep it clean, salt water soaks and plaster over it until it is seen professionally. Good luck, it looks very painful.

Aworldofmyown · 01/06/2022 22:02

I remember digging a verucca from my foot with a paperclip, I was about seven. Left a huge hole!

theemmadilemma · 01/06/2022 22:05

I always hesitate before I click in here.
And always leave with perverted delight. 😁

LaWench · 01/06/2022 22:09

Well done OP. I would have recommended a chiropodist though. Mine prescribed me a silver nitrate pen to kill off the verucca which worked.

AdoraBell · 01/06/2022 22:10

Definitely use the Scholl thing mentioned.

AdoraBell · 01/06/2022 22:11

Sorry, missed your update 🤦‍♀️

Lipsandlashes · 01/06/2022 22:14

Holy fuck! I don’t have anything to add other than those photos were chef’s kiss. Bravo OP

VaccineSticker · 01/06/2022 22:15

See a podiatrist. Can’t believe you’ve left it this long! Get well soon.

squishmycherry · 01/06/2022 22:16

Best. Thread. Ever.

Marking place for the next one. If you could give up a predicted timeline OP I can set a reminder to come back Grin

I'm not sure how long this one will take to heal but I'm guessing like two weeks?!

Amazing.
Classics?

JesusMaryAndJosephAndTheWeeDon · 01/06/2022 22:34

Jesus you are hardcore!!!

Supersimkin2 · 01/06/2022 22:35

Exquisite MNetting OP.

May your foot throb deliciously for days, the crater go tantalisingly black and crusty, and the scab be crunchier than KFC.

Gooseysgirl · 01/06/2022 22:39

Wow what a brilliant outcome so fast 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 look at the chunky roots on that mother fucker!!! Well done OP, I salute your bravery! My DS has got a new one brewing on his big toe but my DH won't let me near it... he likes to play the long game with Bazooka 🤨

Benjispruce4 · 01/06/2022 22:40

Wow, well done. That’s a big hole! Soak that well in with some disinfectant and dress it well.
When I was about 8 I had a wart at the inner base of my thumb. One day I bit it off on the school field. It bled like crazy and the school nurse (remember them? It was the 70s) told me off. It never came back though!

TeddyBeans · 01/06/2022 22:42

What a glorious thread. Thank you OP! Hope it heals up nicely for you!

Yarnasaurus · 01/06/2022 22:47

Oh wow, well done! Exactly what I'd have done, and have done.

Blister plasters are excellent if your dh can pop to a shop for you. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the rest of it dies off now.

Blimeyherewegoagain · 01/06/2022 22:47

Love a verucca core! Well done OP.

Samanabanana · 01/06/2022 23:01

If this surgery doesn't kill it for good, put duct tape over it! My decade old veruca was killed this way after numerous treatments/self surgery failed Grin

barneymcgroo · 01/06/2022 23:23

Superb thread, op. Good luck with part 2...
