I'm trying to get rid of a 10 year old verucca. I can't tell if it's going well or not. Wtf is going on! It hurts! I have a hole in my foot!!

As a retired podiatrist I recommend you see a chiropodist/podiatrist/foot health professional before it gets infected. You need all the dead skin removing so they can see what is going on. I would just keep it clean, salt water soaks and plaster over it until it is seen professionally. Good luck, it looks very painful.

I remember digging a verucca from my foot with a paperclip, I was about seven. Left a huge hole!

Well done OP. I would have recommended a chiropodist though. Mine prescribed me a silver nitrate pen to kill off the verucca which worked.

If this surgery doesn't kill it for good, put duct tape over it! My decade old veruca was killed this way after numerous treatments/self surgery failed
