It was on my inner 'lips'. It's been SO sore all day. I saw it had a couple of blood spots on it and thought hmm maybe I can perform an operation. Ten cotton wool pads half a tub of salt and a LOT of painfully hot water and wincing later and it exploded. It was a thing of beauty. I felt the relief. Honestly I could have cried. It's still swolllen but I'm leaving it to antiseptic cream now. I'll have another pop (ah, ha ha) at it tomorrow.

If it's a Bartholin's cyst it might come back. Get an out of hours GP appointment for some antibiotic cover.

As a sufferer of Hidradenitis Supprativa, that is a fairly common sight in our house. Keep a close eye on it, you might need some antibiotics as you have poked and prodded it
