The follicle bollickle thankfully never came back and I've been free from all things cysty since then. And back in those days you couldn't just attach a pic so I had to keep putting it on my profile and deleting quickly!

I bet. I'm very sorry to have missed those, but @katopotato has now formally promised to show us more photos from a second head she was working on which will ease my pain a little.

I don't know about sporners either. I am a terrible squeezer though. All I know is if there's blood in it, I've gone too far! Would never think of sharing it on line or any way else though. Thanks for enlightening me. I'm off now.

Yikes! I had one of those and it was unpleasant. I spent a night in hospital with an antibiotic drip in my arm when I had one of those things and the stuff that came out of it STANK.

It actually didn't smell at all

As a sufferer of Hidradenitis Supprativa, that is a fairly common sight in our house. Keep a close eye on it, you might need some antibiotics as you have poked and prodded it

I'm on low dose erythromycin. Haven't had an eruption in 2 years. Bliss

It looks like you had some relief from it - but I do think you may well need some antibiotics or a nuclear bomb to get rid of it completely.
