I've had that! Bartholin's cyst. It got bigger and bigger and then burst one Boxing Day all over the bathroom of the relations we were staying with.

Bearing in mind the content of this thread, I honestly thought that sentence was going to veer off in a Gwyneth Paltrow direction and you had tried to steam your nethers with a steam mop instead of Gwynnie's mop bucket approach. You can't imagine my relief when I read on to see that you had thankfully only mopped your toe (painful though that must be).

I'm now wondering where a bartholins cyst would be-maybe I'm wrong, I thought they were always at the top of the vaginal opening? This was more inside between my inner and outer lips?

@Mrsmorton I think she just meant that flesh especially that has been sitting about for a bit and in particular that belongs to a less than healthy being, will usually have some puss in it
