KLAXON pea sized lump in earlobe, with pics of course.

I have a lump in my earlobe and I'm not sure what to do. I have had these before, but always in a piercing hole, so could be easily squeezed out of the hole. This is between two holes and will not squeeze no matter how hard i try.

My earlobe is throbbing and painful and I just want it gone now. Getting to the point of jabbing it with a needle as it's affecting my sleep. It has been there for three days now.

As a committed sporner i am frustrated with this as there has been no glorious explosion, no beautiful bursting loveliness, just pain. Help?

I'll get dp to take a better pic when he gets back from the shop and I'll also video any popping attempts.

Yep yabba mine used to do that was rank you sporner guys would have been all over it.

I had a large/ish cyst on the back of my shoulder blade, and the GP removed it with a local anaesthetic and a scalpel. Was fab.

He said he was being very careful not to cut into the sac or it would stink. He also said that if you didn't remove the sac, it'd just fill up again.

I made him show me and it was a perfectly spherical, tight yellowish/white ball attached to skin at the top, IYSWIM.

He popped it in a jar and sent it to a lab to make sure it wasn't cancerous. (It wasn't)

Was all v interesting.

But so disappointing that it went into my hair unnoticed. I could feel it had been a right biggy, too. There was a bit of sticky blood still to squeeze but what an anticlimax

Right I'm going to do a hot compress this morning and then give it a go after my shower. As dp isn't here to film it I will just have to take pictures if anything happens. I'm not convinced it will though, it hasn't come any closer to the skin and still just feels like a hard lump. If it doesn't go this time I will admit defeat and stop bothering it.

Nope, stand down sporners. I have come to the conclusion that whatever it is is solid and has a good blood supply. I definitely pierced it with the needle this time as it went from soft to hard and you could feel it pop through the skin of it. Then on squeezing all that happened was my ear bled. I give up. Stupid ear.

Oh god come back everyone! Did announced she has a lump where her lobe meets her face. And sure enough she has a lovely sphere in there. Sadly though A-don't think it's gonna pop and B she said "dont squeeze it, you weirdo, put the camera down!" I think she was switched at birth.
