After years of probably having to watch all sorts of wonderful and occasional strange children’s TV shows, it’s hard to not ending up having favourites...whether you love them in secret or not.]] would like to know which children’s shows you are more than happy to watch with your DC and why they’ve become your favourite.

Here’s what ]] have to say: “Now it’s the summer holidays, more and more families are streaming children’s shows such as Shaun The Sheep, My Little Pony, The Penguins of Madagascar and Just Add Magic. It’s great when you find a show that you can enjoy that works for both child and parent, and we would love to know what these shows are for you and your family.”

Has Dora the Explorer been an all-time favourite of yours for years because you end up learning things too? Perhaps you love trying to figure out who the baddy is in Scooby-Doo along with your DC? Maybe seeing Tom & Jerry on the screen always brings back some great nostalgic memories of when you were a child? Or do you love Postman Pat purely for the great theme tune?

Whatever your favourite children’s programme is, share them on the thread below to be entered into a prize draw to win 1 of 3 Amazon Fire Kids Edition Tablets, made just for kids.

Thanks and good luck

i used to love watching in the night garden with my son when he was little. We used to sing along to the song at the end

No contest - Blue Peter - I loved it as a child #stickybackplastic and I love to watch it with my children, it's changed over the years, improved, and we love it. #bluepeterbadge

Ben and hollys little kingdom.
I just love the adult jokes that go over Dd head. Nanny plum is just brilliant.

Thecatisboss · 11/08/2018 13:00

I was coming on to say Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom too! The sense of homour really appeals to me.

Also DD and i learned a lot from Octonauts.

It's a shame now she's outgrown both of those and prefers annoying american tv series about mermaids etc.

To be honest I don't watch any as I only watch TV for about 30 mins a day and that is for the 6pm news. However, years ago I did like watching Worzel Gummidge

Ben and Holly is hilarious.

I watched something on CBeebies about eggs, I think it was called 'Fo You Know', that was pretty interesting.
