After years of probably having to watch all sorts of wonderful and occasional strange children’s TV shows, it’s hard to not ending up having favourites...whether you love them in secret or not.]] would like to know which children’s shows you are more than happy to watch with your DC and why they’ve become your favourite.

Here’s what ]] have to say: “Now it’s the summer holidays, more and more families are streaming children’s shows such as Shaun The Sheep, My Little Pony, The Penguins of Madagascar and Just Add Magic. It’s great when you find a show that you can enjoy that works for both child and parent, and we would love to know what these shows are for you and your family.”

Has Dora the Explorer been an all-time favourite of yours for years because you end up learning things too? Perhaps you love trying to figure out who the baddy is in Scooby-Doo along with your DC? Maybe seeing Tom & Jerry on the screen always brings back some great nostalgic memories of when you were a child? Or do you love Postman Pat purely for the great theme tune?

Whatever your favourite children’s programme is, share them on the thread below to be entered into a prize draw to win 1 of 3 Amazon Fire Kids Edition Tablets, made just for kids.

Thanks and good luck

I love Ben & Holly because I find Nanny Plum hilarious!, one programme that I really can't stand is Horrid Henry.

PsychoPumpkin · 15/08/2018 15:33

It’s not even a secret. Got to be Just Add Magic on Prime. I am eagerly awaiting the next season because it’s just so brilliant!

Cooloncraze · 15/08/2018 15:51

Pablo is lovely
Waffle the wonderdog
Biggleton
Dragons and The Deep and Horroble Histories.

So so so so glad we’re over the Paw Patrol phase. It was beyond bad.

Kind of miss the early morning programmes like Baby Jake now those years are over

Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom. I love the fantasy world and Nanny Plumb is hilarious.

sarahtomlinson · 15/08/2018 17:46

I love Nutkin from Peter Rabbit!

My kids (5 &2) love scooby doo and tom & jerry and I love watching both with them. More so t&j as it brings back great memories!

Also secretly enjoy watching animated mr bean with them, but prefer the original programme, I am yet to convert them though!

Elizasmum02 · 15/08/2018 17:56

Paw patrol is very cute

Teaspoon74 · 15/08/2018 18:03

I'm finding I actually don't mind Bing, Raa Raa, Twirlywoos, Kit & Pup, and Yakka Dee.

My own faves from childhood include Bagpuss, Mr Ben, Chorlton & the wheelies, Cities of Gold, Rhubarb & Custard!

Gynlais · 15/08/2018 18:05

I watched Scooby doo as a child and loved it. Now I watch it with my children and they adore it.

EsmesBees · 15/08/2018 19:56

Ben and Holly!

Blainalass · 15/08/2018 20:19

I used to love Mist the Sheepdog - but so did everyone else, didn't they? And Shaun the Sheep of course.

fei0131 · 15/08/2018 20:50

I love Junk Rescue, which is fairly new on CBeebies. It's fascinating to see what the craftspeople make with the items, and the presenters are brilliant with the children too. Really inspiring!

Absolutely love Hey dugee!!! I sing sticky sticky stick stick to DD. As a PP mentioned I watch Let's play and waffle the wonder dog after DD is in bed Smile

flumpybear · 15/08/2018 21:42

Ben and Holly could actually also be my Mastermjnd specialist subjects ... sad, yet true Hmm

FireflyGirl · 15/08/2018 22:35

We holidayed in a cottage which only had terrestrial tv when we discovered the joys of Hey Duggee. DH and I enjoy it much more than DS... Blush

Stick. Stick!

Pinklady301 · 15/08/2018 23:27

I love Frozen! Hope they do a Frozen 2.
I'm a sucker for Disney though.

StephanieKeill86 · 16/08/2018 09:38

Me and my son both really enjoy Hey Duggee. He learns alot from watching Duggee.

MrsSnootyPants2018 · 16/08/2018 09:41

I loved Let's Play with Sid & Rebecca when my DD was younger! I'd hun the time in my head all day!

mrsdeedow · 16/08/2018 10:52

I actually like Peppa Pig, don't tell the kids though, I used to know all the songs to Imagination Movers lol

katiemanzoori · 16/08/2018 10:58

I enjoy chipmunks. Loved it when I was a kid and love that my kids enjoy it now!

MiddleClassProblem · 16/08/2018 13:03

Sofia the First. I can’t convince my daughter to watch it over Waffle The Wonderdog at the mo and that is really annoying! Why were they putting ice cream on their faces?

Katylyn · 16/08/2018 13:03

Jessie & Victorious are they still on?

RedRanger · 16/08/2018 14:25

Power Rangers! The only reason we added netflix was so me and 'the kids' could work our way through all of them 😁
