After years of probably having to watch all sorts of wonderful and occasional strange children’s TV shows, it’s hard to not ending up having favourites...whether you love them in secret or not.]] would like to know which children’s shows you are more than happy to watch with your DC and why they’ve become your favourite.

Here’s what ]] have to say: “Now it’s the summer holidays, more and more families are streaming children’s shows such as Shaun The Sheep, My Little Pony, The Penguins of Madagascar and Just Add Magic. It’s great when you find a show that you can enjoy that works for both child and parent, and we would love to know what these shows are for you and your family.”

Has Dora the Explorer been an all-time favourite of yours for years because you end up learning things too? Perhaps you love trying to figure out who the baddy is in Scooby-Doo along with your DC? Maybe seeing Tom & Jerry on the screen always brings back some great nostalgic memories of when you were a child? Or do you love Postman Pat purely for the great theme tune?

Whatever your favourite children’s programme is, share them on the thread below to be entered into a prize draw to win 1 of 3 Amazon Fire Kids Edition Tablets, made just for kids.

Thanks and good luck

Our DCs are older and do not watch cartoons or children's television. But when they were younger loved watching again scooby doo and wacky races

Sparklepants3 · 14/08/2018 19:19

The Care Bears! Me and my sister used to love the movies growing up. I don’t get to watch it with the boys but my nieces love watching it with me!

TimeIhadaNameChange · 14/08/2018 19:34

After hearing about Paw Patrol from the kids at the nursery I work at for months I finally watched an episode last summer and was hooked! I love it!

Tkw2014 · 14/08/2018 20:41

I actually quite like paw patrol!

Cotswoldmama · 14/08/2018 20:47

My youngest son really likes watching Morph, I still love watching it too.

christmasgeek · 14/08/2018 22:19

Do you know ... I learn all sorts watching that!

And annoyingly, topsy & Tim 🙈

hadagutsful · 14/08/2018 22:41

Tumble Leaf on Prime Video. It's so dreamy and relaxing. SIL and I want to live there.

Jaderice21 · 14/08/2018 23:11

shimmer and shine is pretty good like the genie version of sabrina the teenage witch :P in cartoon

Fartootiredforthisshit · 14/08/2018 23:35

I love Dot on tiny pop

TellMeItsNotTrue · 15/08/2018 01:14

Arthur is my not-so-secret favourite, it's one I watched when I was younger and to an age I would rather not admit so it takes me back and I get a bit excited about a new episode Grin

Can guarantee after writing this I will have the theme tune and the library song in my head for days! ("Having fun isn't hard, when you've got a library card...")

UsedBySomebodyAlready · 15/08/2018 06:17

Barbie - Life in the Dreamhouse is hilarious, I could watch it all day.

Purpletoes · 15/08/2018 06:45

I love Hey Duggee and Sarah and Duck.
We also love here Ben and Holly, Go jetters and Octonauts.
My DS has recently discovered Morph which is great

OrdinarySnowflake · 15/08/2018 08:20

Horrible Histories!

NobodyToVoteForNow · 15/08/2018 08:31

Another Sarah and Duck fan here - and what I love most about it is that my 4, 8 and 12 year olds will all watch it peacefully together.

theworstwife · 15/08/2018 10:41

We love ‘do you know’ - we all learn something every time! I like Peppa Pig but my son is more of a Blaze/Top Wing fan which aren’t too bad

DrZoidbergsTentacles · 15/08/2018 11:55

Has anyone watched We Care Bears - it is so bonkers and off the wall, and my 5 year old loves it, as do i - SO funny. That and the series of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs which she also loves - they have a character called the Mayor in it who is always in a nappy - I reckon he's totally based on Donald Trump.

flumpybear · 15/08/2018 12:00

I'm rubbish with children's programmes and films such as Disney, Pixar etc, but used to watch so much Peppa Pig that it would have been my specialist subject on Mastermind ... secretly actually really liked it too .... particularly the daft things Daddy Pig does!

custardcream1000 · 15/08/2018 12:50

Charlie and Lola, bananas in pyjamas and I used to enjoy watching let's play due to the catchy singing.

Lisasm21 · 15/08/2018 13:52

Pj masks my hubby adores and I quite like Sofia the first and paw patrol

Trilllllian · 15/08/2018 14:33
