This is awful, those poor children, and parents

MrsGordonRamsay · 09/08/2005 21:50

I have a few questions that will not make me popular, but I will wait until I have watched the whole programme.

MrsGordonRamsay · 09/08/2005 21:59

Anyone else here ??

RTKangaMummy · 09/08/2005 22:03

alexsmum · 09/08/2005 22:03

i felt so sorry for poor shelby and her family.it made me cry to see her big brother in tears over her.he was just a little lad-what a big worry.
i don't know how parents who have children with such major problems cope, i really don't .hats off to them.

dot1 · 09/08/2005 22:04

Oh god - I know this is really corny and stupid, but I hope not patronising, but the programme (as well as making me cry buckets throughout) really made me think of you lot... I've got one friend who has a child with a range of severe disabilities (doesn't have an official 'diagnosis' at the moment) and then there's people on here who I think of as friends, at least in MN world.

So just to say I was thinking of you with renewed awe, respect and love.

Blossomhill · 09/08/2005 22:04

I just want it over with to be honest. I just want it all done so I can give her a cuddle and bring her home with me.
She will be under for about an hour which is quite a long time.

MrsGordonRamsay · 09/08/2005 22:04

That programme had me legging it upstairs at every break to kiss my DS(4)

It was an excellent programme and very well put together...............but one, well actually two things had me shouting at the screen.

The little girl with the inward turning arms and legs.

Sorry, but why, if the father has had a baby with you and then by all accounts buggered off back to his original family...............DO YOU GET PREGNANT AGAIN ?????????????

Thomcat · 09/08/2005 22:05

Well done kanga, you rock.
Programme was great, and very, very humbling. I had to semi watch only and not get into to it too much as far too hormonal to cope.

Blossomhill · 09/08/2005 22:06

I know, I know MGR. However it wasn't really about that. It was more about the children I felt.
The boy with epilepsy, why did he have tumours?

RTKangaMummy · 09/08/2005 22:06

MrsGordonRamsay · 09/08/2005 22:06

Shelbie's Mother seems so very, very devoted, but why, oh why, if her child is OXYGEN dependent was she smoking indoors ???
