I think it will be September time when we all hear in the march dates..I’m also having to move out my rented house into a council one once I get a successful bid but that can take time so will have to go into temporary housing as LL as applied for a possessions order now so I hope I get given enough time to change my address with DLA as I don’t want any letters coming here

I think so too, trying to see if I can get more evidence to send off.
id just ring the day you get your new address, they should be able to see if any letter got sent already to the old address.
@Mummyof4children congratulations- what evidence did you send?

Yes I’ve got to await a letter as my son as now he’s been referred to occupational therapy and also his SEN lady is doing another assessment on him in June so hoping to get all that together to send as extra evidence, trying to push him to get assessed by the peadatrician sooner waiting 3 years is just way to long for a child ,I spoke to a really lovely lady at DLA yesterday who gave me the exact address and also advised me to pay for recorded delivery

. NC - SC 13/02, just rang for update on where we was at as after seeing all the feb claims going thru wanted to know if it was worth sending off any new info. he said ours was awaiting a decision maker and they are just getting through January now and should be about a month. Even tho we are seeing Feb claims being awarded now so not much longer for us feb folks hopefully 🙏 but he said in regards to sending more info it's up to me and hit or miss as to whether it would make it in time for the decision making part. Hoping good news for us all soon x

Takes around 6 weeks for new evidence to be scanned onto system so that would add to ur waiting time

That's what I mean I still thought I'd have a few months left with the whole 30 week wait so I thought I'd check where we was at, if it's going to delay us I'll leave it and wait on decision and hopefully will hear back in the next few weeks 🤞

See we don’t have an EHCP although school did a statement for us.
They've made reasonable adjustments whether diagnosed or not so that’s helpful. But not official is it.
Don’t have an SEN worker or OT but we have a paediatrician already, strange how different areas use different services first.
Still got about a year to go on the ASD waiting list too!

MR 16/1
I received HRC & LRM for 11 years and we got declined completely on renewal January. Even tho my child’s disability and needs have and will never change or get better. The wait is sooooo long! It’s driving me mad. I’ve been a silent reader for months! Xx

That’s shocking from HRC to nothing did you send in any evidence at renewal ? I’m a week after you MR 22/1 the wait time is ridiculous according to a member on early post they still working on MRs from 19/11 so we still have bout 8 weeks to wait!

Wow this scares me reading this. I still have had no decision and my sons claim runs out today or Monday 😭 we got the initial award for 2 years we only had a diagnosis of ADHD then but fast forward. 2 years we have an autism assessment, we have a detailed speech and language report, blue badge and being referred for Tourette’s or tics a massive detailed report from me . A detailed iep. Going through the motions for EHCP. It frightens me and he has got worse and a lot more needs now x
