someone else! This wait is just so nerve wracking x

Same really said to phone back on Monday to check new evidence is uploaded but they’ve still got five weeks to decide. Been told the same thing since mid may :(

Can someone answer me this question UC have now said to me for them to stop calling me into job centre I have to claim carrers allowance I said that’s not right all I need to report I’m now caring for someone over 35 hours and gets carrers element am I right or are they right

Very unfair to wait this long especially that we waited already first time round aswell.

I’ve not received any letters at all I queried that and they said it doesn’t matter. Weird that I haven’t got not one letter since start of this process!!

I’ve been told the same must claim
carers u will still get same amount of money but UC take
it of so u can get it every week on a Monday or every 4 weeks xxx

I’m sending any letters I find literally every other week! Sometimes I’m writing up things late at night having to explain certain things aswell incase they don’t read it properly the anxiety it’s giving I just don’t understand how it’s exceeded 25 weeks now and they expect people to keep calm? I really hope you get your award our children deserve it and it’s a shame these decision makers can’t actually see what we do on a daily I was saying to the lady on the phone earlier I was worried about being declined and if there was a way to send in videos of my child’s behaviour it would be a whole different perspective for them! x

I just asked my work coach to call me and she did she said the career element shoukd also turn off work commitments as your classed as caring for someone I won’t be doing uc as it deducts money and can’t be asked for that

Have you made the change on your uc to say you are caring for someone?

start date will be the date your child was awarded dla from

Not yet as I’m waiting to see the letter to see when. She was award from no one would telll me over the phone

How do u do the career element then xxx

Once you have done that on uc it will turn off any work commitments

On caring for someone on UC it’s asking when this care started , well forever lol but what date do I need
to put in xx

I think it’s the dla when u rang for the forms or if u didn’t send on time the scan date or something x

It's me again 🤣 another update ladies, rang again went through option 4 instead of 2 and explained everything how deflated I am how much false information I have had etc but he told me it is with a decision maker 100% then he went on to explain they are working weekends etc so if I haven't heard by 4pm Sunday to call back morning Monday and they will chase it up with the case manager x

I claim carers allowance for this same reason
