im MR 21/11 just got off the phone to dla they said they working on my date now so can be any minute got told the same yesterday. The wait is destroying me

My daughter is exactly the same, she is 5 though. And the reason they gave to only give lower just proved them hadn’t read through the evidence properly. My little brother gets HRM for less so even my parents confirmed it was the wrong decision! I’m really hoping they contact my daughters school for extra input because my daughter can’t go anywhere within her tiny unit without her 1-1 cos she can’t be trusted to be safe. She just doesn’t have the mental capacity for it.

I feel like I haven’t sent enough, like I’ve sent her 18 page autism report, letter from paediatrics stating she’s a risk, doctors referral form to community paediatrics, statements,
IEPs, referral letters to OT, camhs and dietitians and the ehcp request I drafted she recently moved schools and has only just seen a EP so I still don’t have that report but trying to see if the senco can do something in the mean time for us whilst we’re waiting. It’s honestly the worse this long wait and now it’s like our 25 weeks is up it’s giving us even more anxiety it’s so unfair! But I’m the 02/12 we will probably hear back around the same time! at first I got a letter for 12 weeks then 15 now 25. Then they have the cheek to question in to why we’re calling them when we’ve now exceeded that time x

Mine was MR additional info I sent after his rejection was was print out from doctors of his diagnosis of ADHD and xxy syndrome and list of medication. That's all I additionally sent as first time he had no diagnosis

How did u all find out what day you was awarded from and how long the award was for they refused to tell me that on the phone last week and was told to just wait for the letter but that could take ages

I can’t believe it nothing on Monday still in holding que then next day awarded it’s crazy unless some call handlers don’t like to say it’s with a DM or it just proves how fast it can all change xx

I was told on the phone, the lady I had was lovely, she said the letter has been sent out, then she loaded it up on the screen and read it through for me x

My SIL received her back pay Friday and her letter arrived yesterday x

When I rang she said a decision has been made so I said can u please put me through to someone who can tell me she said yes of course , put me through the lady answered and said have u got a pen and she basically said the rates the amount the next payment date and the back pay amount xx

@Mum2allgirls good luck, it's worth a shot! I think it's a longer wait with option 4, I didn't get straight through but worth it if they can give some clarity xx

I got back pay yesterday so I guess it will be this weeek that letter comes then x

Im nervous about lack of eveidence too but yours Sounds like you have enough lovely, I've known people to send alot less and I get what they was after, I know it goes by the level of care but still thats a good amount youve got for them xx

Yeah. No luck just said it’s with a decision maker awaiting a call back from the school.

I said it’s been with a decision maker awaiting a call back from the school since mid may. Can the decision maker please call the school again. I’m so fed up. I sent in extra evidence from school by recorded delivery early this week but it’s still not showing on the system.

I don’t know what they could possibly have to ask the school that’s not listed on his ASD report, EP report, and SENDCO statement of needs though,

I feel like they are going to decline and dragging it out like this is horrendous.
