I think i probably will😂 try push my luck a little!! Its ridiculous how they leave it so so close to end date! I think it's nerve wrecking knowing that you get to the last possible day then if it's a decline and literally no time to rearrange everything that we have for our little ones and it's also such a lot to lose with little to no time to prepare ourselves! If they did it a month or so in advance at least we'd have time to sort everything out rather then if it was a decline having to sort it there and then!
Good luck with your renewal! Can't remember the date of yours but sure it was days apart maybe the same?

It's Monday 9/06 same as yours so we're in this together really 🤣 - do you get carers allowance for your little one? I do currently but I'm also worried about that. It's just the whole wait and especially with the renewals not even being looked at until like the very end is crazy, let me know about how the call goes tomorrow good luck xx

@Lifeiswhatyoumakeit9124 Ah I thought it was, wasn't 100%! Definitely in this together!!! And no i don't get carers allowance? I didn't know i could? I do get carers element though on uc and disability element which I'm quite worried about as obviously claim ends on Monday and my cut off date for uc is Wednesday next week so literally 2 days in it and don't want the faff of having to get in touch with uc to cancel it all if it is a decline and them having 2 days to change it all! But ill definitely keep you updated and good luck to you aswell!x

Yeah you can if you meet the criteria for it, so it's worth bearing that in mind, if you are eligible for it then take what you are entitled to , yeah I get you with that it's all so worrying isn't it, when we all have enough worry with our little ones 😟xx

First march scan date I have seen been awarded

This is the one I’ve seen. The comments are asking if it’s a renewal and they say it’s not it’s a new claim. Only had the forms since 14th may.

Me too hun.. didn't they would start the march ones as yet .. being as January are still waiting.. I literally give up.. I am happy for all parents and children awarded.. just wish the waiting times were more fair xx good luck

Yes ring them and say to them “I have friends who have been awarded after your scan date and just wanted to check what’s happening with mine”

Hi, looking for some advice or reassurance. My daughter is 6 and has suspected ASD and ADHD. She has her ASD assessment at the end of June. I called DLA today, they said a letter had been sent to the school for more information. While this is ok. The school have not been on board with this. They said they don’t see what we do, but could be masking . Exactly the same as my eldest . It took them 4 years to listen to me that she had serious issues. She was finally diagnosed last year! Why is everything a fight all the time!! Will we be declined if school say differently?
