Good luck, our decision was made yesterday at first she said wait for letter but eventually she put me through to someone who went through the whole award with me xx

Her diagnosis, doctors letter, behaviour report but I had nothing from school- then all her physio letter her exercises- prescription.

Hi I have just rang dla there are working on November 21 to 23 mc am 3 December there will take 2 or 3 weeks now .. I thought give everyone update.

Is there a complaints email or number for DLA? or DWP? I’ve spoken to someone this morning who said it can be another 4 weeks and I’m currently over 26 weeks now I just find it so awful. I’ll be waiting till 30 weeks and knowing my luck they still wouldn’t have done it within that time frame it’s so draining.

ah I just spoke to escalation team who told me there still stuck on 20th and they’ve been on the 20th since Friday!😩

NC SD 20/01 rang again this morning for an update and still no decision has been made, told me to call again next week and hopefully there should be an update but it can still take the 25 weeks and I’m only week 19 so I’m not counting on it

i can’t stop checking my texts now i’ve been marked urgent🤣x

@Boymum72748 I'm the 23/1 I did call them yesterday and they keep saying the same thing 25 weeks wait it's taking forever and anxiety is playing up now. Hopefully we get some luck soon x

That’s amazing, can I asked what u sent as I don’t know weather to do a mr as my son has adhd, autism Tourette’s and serve speech and language blue badge as we only got a 2 year award again, is it worth getting it for longer x

They’re 5 weeks overdue on my son’s MR atm. We sent it through right at the beginning of November. They rang his school at almost 6pm the Friday they broke up for half term then pretty much blamed the school for not answering for the delay in his decision. Woman on the phone got very mardy with me when I pointed out that regardless of whether or not the school answered they were already 4 weeks behind so it’s actually them to blame for the delay. I had a lecture about how busy they are and how they have a large volume to go through and I’m just going to have to be patient etc because I’m not the only one waiting. Very frustrating and feels like there’s absolutely no end in sight. He’s 9, non verbal ASD, still in nappies, needs 2:1 at school and is a danger to himself when out. All of this is in the evidence I sent in so I don’t even get why they need to ring the school.

hi lovely! Just butting in, my daughter has HRC/LRM and was awarded till 2031 back in 2023 when she had just turned 3. I sent diagnosis, portage statements, SLT reports, educational physcologist reports, early help plans and EHCP referral letter.

Are you doing a COC? My COC was scanned 21/11 getting impatient now

Thanks hun, I sent so much in, detailed iep as going through the EHCP process now, have a detailed speech and language report, detailed letter from paediatric doctor, his ados assessment, blue badge, Tourette’s referral . Do you think I should ask for an mr for the length of award as I feel 2 years is not enough and nothing is going to change, as he is getting older it’s getting harder. He is even being referred for OCD, he is on medication day and night . X
